At Personal Readings it seems to be mostly concerned with Astrological readings.
I find it very ponderous reading through all the requests trying to find non astrological requests.
Could we have a different forum to address all non Astrological readings and requests?------------------

I think so too Dee. 
I would be more apt to do spontaneous readings if I did not have to dig through all the Astrological requests there.
I think others might be more likely to do non astrological readings too.
It is made more ponderous by not knowing what kind of reading is requested until opening each non clearly titled request.
Then to most of the time find it is a request for Astrological readings and or for a specific person to read.
I am tired of wading through such.
Also if a non astrological request is responded to, it gets lost very fast by the over abundance floods of Astrological reading requests pushing it down and even at times onto the previous page.

i just wanted to say that i think tuxedo mask might possibly be a guy since Tuxedo Mask is the hero name of a guy in an old cartoon  i wanted to say it on your thread in sweet peas lexx but the thread is closed ------------------
I once saw a sign that said "sin is death" but if "all deaths are suicide (linda goodman)" and suicide is sin, then shouldnt "death is sin" be more appropriate? when organic is used to describe food then you know we have come to a dark age in history IP: Logged |

deals a bit with non astrological readings but that is not its main purpose.
It does however point out some other forms of divination for use in Personal Readings, but not all.
I rarely use the most popular or even well known methods to do readings.
I go with what resonates on a one to one basis.
It might be runes, it might be Tarot.
However more often it is trance, deep immersion trance, boarding, automatic writing, dreams, visions, casting lots, auric analysis, remote viewing, photo vibes etc., handwriting, crystal ball, scrying, and other diverse methods I shall not list at this time.Non astrological readings are often closely tied to divination. ------------------

I have copy of the thread and just read it again, and "she" or other gender specific gender terms were not used concerning the person he/she was upset with.
(unless I missed one)
Actually tuxedo Mask used these in lieu of specific gender terms;you, they, they're, they've, em (in lieu of them), their So gender was never made clear.  Some of the thread was very funny  but sadly it just got too vulgar for LL.
In a real life setting of friends in person I would have probably been laughing my butt off and giving my take on it all! ------------------

oooh...guess i mentally replaced words without realizing it cuz i was already gender biased because of reasons stated in my first post on this thread  ------------------

If you want to have only one PR forum I have a suggestion.
Lexx could write a thread about what she does and bump it so people could see it.
She could specify that people ask her by name for a reading .That way she would have threads that were hers to look at and work on.
The forum got "cluttered" this way cuz I simply saw a need and tried to fill it.
If someone took that route, I don't see why there could not be many readings offered there.
Lexx does not do Astrology anyway so those readings would not be what she would offer.
We have other people offering things like Mochai and Lady Cartemancy .
Those threads are packed .
Sapp had a huge thread which went on for hundreds of posts.
I personally am fine with whatever you decide Randall.
I do not have feelings one way or another but I am just explaining how I see it for your consideration.
We have a many types of readings going on at one time there and it does not pose problems.IP: Logged |

I don't want to limit it to individual strings by readers (though people can and have started their own string), because anyone should be able to jump in and reply to querants. And I'm not sure that we need another Forum. Maybe there's a third alternative I can figure out. I could change PR to AR and add a Divination one for all other readings, but I really think it would be an extremely slow Forum. ------------------

True.. I find myself less inclined to visit PR because it feels tedious to sort through the threads. I know there are threads by newflakes that get forgotten as they drop off the first page quickly; it's really too bad as that seems to be often the first forum where they reach out.. That was why I had suggested reader-specific threads in the first place to contain requests directed to individual readers, but it was not well-received. Oh well. *shrug* Another forum would certainly help, IMO. Depends on whether LL is ready for it..

It is a maze in PR and if I was a newbie that was seeking sincere help, I would be put off by the randomness of it. Perhaps add chart readings to the description of asteroid forum for Amie Anne? There charts and asteroids in them could be read?
It would be within the Astrological area of the forum list and easier to find as well. ------------------

Let me pose something practical for your consideration.
I am an earth void.You have a lot of earth.Right there are differences in personal bearing and manner of expression.
Take this under consideration
You could write a thread introducing what you do.Lets say Horary for purposes of discussion cuz no one does that in PR as of now.
You would explain what you do and how you want to do it, guidelines etc.
You could do it a number of ways.You could have everyone on one thread as Sap does and Mochai did.
However,I think that would get cumbersome with Astrological readings
So,you could tell the people who wanted a Horary to address a thread .
Then you could have a clean slate every time which I need in order to clear my mind.
That is prolly why PR looks "cluttered"
However,I noticed that Geo needed this too so I realized that I was not alone.
Then you would have your own form of order within the general framework of other things which are transpiring.
People could read your threads and learn about Horary so that would help more than the people for whom you were doing the reading.
You could do this with General Astrological readings too.
Of course anyone else could chime in but you would have an "order" to your own little spot,your own threads.
Those are some of my thoughts as I evolve to try to make my readings better which one naturally does as one does more readings .

For anyone else like Juni please read my post to Sunshine!
I myself am an Earth Void as I said.Why does MY style have to stop anyone else from offering THEIR style?
I do not understand it quite frankly.
There is room enough on LL for the style,personality and offerings of EVERYONE.
I don't understand the issues as to my personal style and the way I do things which seem very appreciated and loved by the people for whom I do charts.
If you check out PR you will see that the majority feel very cared for and attended to.
Jump in with your own gifts rather than try to monitor mine.

I am gonna be totally honest as is my way.Lexx and Juni for two are jealous of me.PR was dead as a doornail. No one not Lexx or you Juni was in there helping people.
I found my little niche which is based on my style and my personality which includes an earth void.
Instead of finding a NEED in LL and trying to fill it as *I* did you want to try to tell me what to do.
Look to yourselves. This is OUTRIGHT jealousy of my gifts and my unique personality.

I will add that I think Sunshine is addressing her point in a serious way and not as a personal catty interchange against me.
That is why I gave Sunshine practical guidelines which I think will answer her problem which is a real one to her based on her earth heavy style.

If you did a thread offering your Lexigrams in PR you would be so swamped.I would be first in line too
You have tons of gifts.Go out there with them .Don't sweat the small stuff.
There are so many hurting people with needs.You will be so swamped that you will not know what to do.
You could do a thread in PR offering your Lexigrams.By the end of the day you will have 25 people on it.You will have a hundred page thread by the end of the week.
You could do what I suggested to Sunshine.Have people ask YOU for a Lexigram on a separate thread.
That way you could keep order rather than have them all on one thread as Sapp does.
That would not be good for a longer reading imo

I don't think Lexx or Juni are being catty here. Reading their responses, I don't see any words exhibiting jealousy or pettiness. They are asking for organization around here to help keep things more orderly. You may be void of earth but not many people are, and perhaps prefer more structure. As you said yourself, it is a matter of personal preferences. This is just a discussion among moderators on best practices for organization. LEXX expressed an idea; let's not jump on her for it! Whatever happened to freedom of speech or thought expression? I seriously doubt there was any harmful intent; I know LEXX to be a gentle soul. Dear Amie Anne, it is difficult to see you feeling this way Jealousy? I like you Amie and for the life of me can`t see where you`re comming from.
