Topic: Prayers for Minnie and Teasel?

My youngest cats.this comes after I posed a rant about a drug that minnie was given a week ago- she showed the side-effects, and is in bad shape. Now her sister Teasel is weak, and fell over into what looked like a seizure. I don't get it!!!  Teasel has been staying out on the deck, but only the deck. Minnie went missing the monday before last, was walking a bit stiffly after she came back, and we took her to the vet a week ago, because of a lack of appetite. Minnie was at the ER on thursday night, they wanted to do a blood transfusion, but we can't afford it. she has masses on her liver and in her stomach, pressing against her intestines. Also something showed up on her brain; she's had six or seven seizures since sunday morning. we can't afford anything else, unless we find someone to do the treatment upfront. we lost our cousin to cancer last week, and this... this is just a nightmare. they're sixteen-years-old, and were perfectly fine until recently. She's definitely gone. I just put her on a sheet, and we wrapped her in it, about ten minutes ago. I didn't want to put her down. I'm just stunned. I shouldn't have put her down earlier. I wanted a shower, because I had pee on me from where Minnie had lost control of her bladder, when seizing. I thought teasel would come out of it, and we would go to the vet. but she's gone. I tell you, if this is supposed to convince me of some loving god, then I'm unconvinced. I was feeling suicidal again at the end of July, but I woke up from that sobbing and then falling asleep, feeling hungover, and determined that I would do my best to continue what I'd been doing: shifting my thoughts as best I could, out of that dark place. Thank you.I posted elsewhere that we lost Minnie that evening (the same day that I posted). I'm having trouble with the fact that they died on the same day - let alone at all. We kept them alive for sixteen years, so we must have been doing something right. It's like something chose just the right moment to hit. The thing is that they hardly spent time together - they all had their favourite spots - and until Minnie went missing a few weeks ago (for one day and night), none of them left the fenced area outside. We just got back from the ER with Elsie, and she isn't looking good. Heart and lungs are fine, but she has something wrong in her intestines (it looks like). She's also had some sort of leakage out of her eyes, but not her nose. They want us to ask our vet to test for the diseases Felv and FIP, which I was expecting - and we could have had that done a week ago, had our vet not suddenly announced that their accountant had said, "no more paying in installments" for anyone, despite the fact that we always pay our bills.
