For many Americans, it is the last long week end of the year to enjoy what summer is left to us.... and before the kiddies return to school.

BBQ, go to the beach, visit relatives but what ever you do, have fun, be happy and have safe Labor Day weekend!!

Wow, that's really in your face! Playing on "Labor Day".

I'm laboring on "Labor Day" but plan to avoid labor on the other 364 days of the year when there's no emphasis on "labor".

Enjoy your day!

Watch out for the police if you speed today. The Five-0 is out in full force on this day, ready to give you their Blue Light Special.

I have CDO. It's like OCD, but the letters are in alphabetical order, as they should be.

We've mostly been watching movies, and trying to keep our cat Elsie, alive. She's weak, but relieving herself (which wasn't happening on Thursday night), and whilst we're mostly feeding her with syringes, she took a couple of bites of Dennis' food this morning (which was then snatched up, in case she's contagious).

I wish we'd caught Minnie an teasel with this sooner - although I think that convenia shot made Minnie a lot worse within hours, than she would have been otherwise. I just watched A Dog Year, with Jeff Bridges, and am craving a subway sandwich. I keep forgetting that it's a holiday weekend. The past month was a crappy end to the summer, but I'm feeling more grounded, I think, due to *having* to be more on the ball with things, and the fact that everyone has been spending more time together, rather than on here. I'm still glad to have the internet (and people here, and a couple of other places) to turn to, though, as well.
