So it wasn't Harry Potter, huh?! quote: Originally posted by Ceridwen: Try the vampire-genre.
That rules me out then.. haven't seen many vampire movies recently, unless you count the campy spoof "Vampires Suck".. IP: Logged |

Yep Wizard of Oz... Munchkinland Come out, come out, wherever you are and meet the young lady, who fell from a star. She fell from the sky, she fell very far and Kansas, she says, is the name of the star. Kansas, she says, is the name of the star. She brings you good news. Or haven't you heard? When she fell out of Kansas A miracle occurred. It really was no miracle. What happened was just this. The wind began to switch - the house to pitch and suddenly the hinges started to unhitch. Just then the Witch - to satisfy an itch went flying on her broomstick, thumbing for a hitch. And oh, what happened then was rich. *The house began to pitch. The kitchen took a slitch. It landed on the Wicked Witch in the middle of a ditch, Which was not a healthy situation for the Wicked Witch. ... Who began to twitch and was reduced to just a stitch of what was once the Wicked Witch. ------------------ Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it. ~Rumi~ IP: Logged |

Cool, I didn`t know it was in the book that was the inspiration to the musical "Wicked".Actually I had this scene in mind from "Queen of the Damned" (So Anne Rice was the right bet, jsut different book. ), when Lestat is giving a pressconference and challening his fellow vampires: Come out, come out, whereever you are. I REALLY loved Stuart Townsend in this! (Though I know I am probably the only one. Sorry for my long absence btw, I got lured away.

Ami,of course we can play something else. It was just the first thing that came to my mind. Oh this is of one of my favourite films: Ewan Mc Gregor said this: "So I can make love to you... heartfelt, passionate, worshipping, adoring love... and you could still have meaningless sex with me, right?"

It`s from "Down with love", a sort of hommage to the old Rock Hudson / Doris Day films (especially "Pillowtalk" I think); I didn`t expect much from that film, but it managed to get me out of a depressed mood and since then it just makes me feel good. IP: Logged |
