j/k

First off, do bees gather pollen this late in the year? They are all over the place around here poking their cute little heads in these flowers.

Anyway, I was walking by some bushes near where I live with tiny purple flowers on them, and just by chance I saw a bumblebee on its back on the pavement buzzing around trying to flip back over. I have no idea how a bee would flip upside down like that. Maybe it ran into a car windshield, or something. I thought it might be hurt, but I grabbed a piece of pinestraw and flipped it back over. Yay! It flew erratically for a couple of seconds until it got its bearings back, and then it went straight to a bush with its co-worker bees and immediately joined back in. Wow, what a workaholic bee! What I was thinking about around the time is about whether or not I am doing with my life what I should be, and the profundity of chancing upon that bee at that opportune moment was like a Sign that I am exactly where I am supposed to be in my life--just like I was in the right place at the right time to save that bee. A car might have run it over or ants may have attacked it (since it was helpless). It felt great just to save it. But it felt even greater to receive such a Sign. And that is what a bumblebee taught me.

That is such a sweet story! And one that sounds familiar somehow.

But isn`t it interesting in what ways we receive signs?

One just has to pay attention to nature (and daydreams).
even a daydream can teach us important things which might make us changae our perspective quite a bit and through this change our life in subtle though significant ways

Apparently they get 'drunk' on pollen..!

So if they look like they are all wobbly, they are probably drunk.

many times bumblebees are greedy and take more pollen than they can carry. Especially when they sense cold sleepy times ahead. Thats a message in it`s self

i would have interpreted something like that as "dont stop working for anything!!!!"

I once saw a sign that said "sin is death" but if "all deaths are suicide (linda goodman)" and suicide is sin, then shouldnt "death is sin" be more appropriate?

when organic is used to describe food then you know we have come to a dark age in history

oh naw, humans are not the only ones! Like cats and catnip...

My sister's cat June, acts drunk rolling around.
Peanut acts like shes on crack, running around.
And Johnny Cat, seems stoned walking around all chill.

but yes thanks for sharing that inspiring bumble bee story.
