What are you guys getting loved ones for Xmas? I need some fresh ideas now that I'm a "grown up" with a salary, and cute christmas tree decorations from the 99cent store ain't gonna cut it no more.

Ideas I have so far:
1) Custom-made chocolates (I'm making my own business. Still working on the site/ecommerce, etc. Be prepared to be bombarded by heavenly deliciousness. )
2) Flash drives with favorite songs to share. Borders on illegal, but whatever...

That's it. Ugh, I'm horrible at this right now... Maybe it's Mercury Retrograde. I always get all my old projects done, but I can never think of anything new or creative.

Maybe I'll just get everyone Starbucks gift cards.

With the cost of a Starbucks coffee, they will definitely appreciate it! Last I checked their regular ("tall") cup of hot choc was about 5 euros! I can buy a 200gr box of choc with 1.20 euros in any supermarket... What is the rest of the cost? The hot water? Or the hot air they add on the top?

rant over

My bottom line; you can get some pretty creative stuff at the dollar (or euro) store. All you need is an imagination and love, not star bucks...

Starbucks is evil, lol. I cannot allow them to intrude in my holiday cheer.
It's hard to think of anything creative or new nowadays. With the economy and all, I feel like I should be giving practical, useful things people REALLY need... At the same rate, people are down and want things to distract them from all the bad things happening in the world.

Maybe I'll give people hugs?

Get something simple and long lasting! For a guy.. maybe a leather wallet (ranges from $10-$100).. girls, a simple charm bracelet. Overstock.com has really nice stainless steel ones that will last a lifetime. And very cheap prices too. Like this one.. http://www.overstock.com/Jewelry-Watches/Stainless-Steel-Heart-Charm-C hain-Bracelet/6055441/product.html

By the way, chocolate sounds good too.

Today was our Christmas morning since my son was with his father last week.

He loves the iPad 2, btw He is a happy kid and playing games on it now.

He also got a Nintendo 3DS from his grandmother. Wow - what a morning!

We just do some presents for the children.

Though, this year I made my own Christmas cards for everyone and I made a Christmas Cake.
Everyone loved receiving a handmade card.
