The military (in the US) often gets criticized, so I want to post this during the holiday season and thank you one and all for the sacrifices each of you make, so that people like us can have the freedoms to pursue our dreams, so our families can be safe, our rights can be protected, and even so we can exercise our 1st Amendment rights to be critical. Freedom isn't free. May each of you have a blessed holiday, and welcome home to the Iraqi soldiers who are leaving this month. No negativity or critical comments on my string, please. Keep those in GU2. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." An additional thank you to the families of the military men and women who sacrificed their loved ones to service .------------------ Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it. ~Rumi~ IP: Logged |

I have a good customer whose Son recently went to Afghanistan so this year I sent him a Christmas care package (it should be arriving any time now)I had the best time gathering this stuff together and I put all kinds of cool stuff in there including a Sports Illustrated Calendar. (I was trying to think like a 20 something year old man) if anyone is interested in putting a smile on a Soldiers face (or even just sending a card) here's a good place to start http://anysoldier.com/
