So I know this guy professionally.
Once upon a time we exchanged some kind of bureaucracy where we both got to see the other person's personal info including birth dates.
Because I'm into astrology and really liked him I noticed his birthday. I don't know if he noticed mine (most people I work with have no interest in astrology) but it was certainly there in the open.
I would like to wish him for his birthday but I wonder if he would wonder how the hell I know! LOL What do you think? Should I just shut up and try sending my wishes telepathically?

no, go ahead and wish him a happy birthday...i do that alot actually, you know, notice something about someone and then commenting on it later....so, just do it

I once saw a sign that said "sin is death" but if "all deaths are suicide (linda goodman)" and suicide is sin, then shouldnt "death is sin" be more appropriate?

If it was me, I'd wish him a happy birthday and if he asked me how I knew, I'd say, "I never reveal my sources."

And then skip away.

Nicki, I meant HOW do I explain if he asks?
It would be very embarrassing. Unless I respond the way Fondue Knight said, I don't see any other way.

You could probably get away with nixing the diva sass and playing it more coyly, but I tend to err on the side of the dramatic.

Personally, if I wanted someone to know I was interested and I had seen their birthday, I would say Happy Birthday, and if they asked how I knew, I would tell the truth - I noticed it in work.

A spade is a spade.

(and I'm notoriously impatient when I like someone - sometimes think my venus shoulda been in aries, not capricorn!)

Thanks, Voix. I don't plan to tell him that I'm interested. He's been in my thoughts and I'd just like to wish him for his birthday. No more or less. I know y'all would die for a love story here!
