Well, I'm already a L33T coder, but good luck to anyone participating -smiles-I too started in Java, however learning the syntax of coding is only half the battle, the clincher is the linear cause/effect thought process that is easier taught using visual scripting programs like Games Factory, & Game Maker. Such are far more beneficial to people just starting off -nods- ------------------ Proud Member of the Vatican Assassin Warlock Attack Squad! Yeah, the most coding I've done is messing around with Arduino. So far, I've found the Codeyear stuff to be pretty interesting/engaging. What are you working on now? I saw a reference to a game level in some other post (don't remember where). IP: Logged |
