I will contrive to bring you the answer. The whole universe will I use to do this. So be on the lookout. This book is far from My only tool. You may ask a question, then put this book down. But watch. Listen. The words to the next song you hear. The information in the next article you read. The story line of the next movie you watch. The chance utterance of the next person you meet. Or the whisper of the next river, the next ocean, the next breeze that caresses your ear—all these devices are Mine; all these avenues are open to Me. I will speak to you if you will listen. Snow hit, just as with lexx, although she probably got more than we did. It's still going out there. I had trouble sleeping, as usual, ended up sleeping very late, in and out of sleep, weird dreams, and knocked my poor dog out of bed at one point. Dora was curled up in front of me, on the edge of my bed, and the next thing I knew I heard a noise, and there she was, still curled up and lying on her left side, looking as surprised as I was. I think I'm eating pizza in a while. I have pizza most Fridays, with my Dad. IP: Logged |

I've been wanting a sewing machine, but the last one that was in the house, broke the first time it was used. I have no idea why.I really wanted one when I was sixteen, when my aunt got me into it. I want to make some curtains for the living room; the ones down there have been getting to me. IP: Logged |

Teasel, I wonder if it would be an easy and relatively cheap repair...? Years ago my ex picked one up (used) which turned out to be broken and he was bummed about it/thought he could fix it, so one day while he was at work i took it out to get repaired for a surprise and was surprised at how inexpensive it was to get it fixed. It might be worth your while to look into because it's oh so fun and nice to have around.I also made curtains for some rooms in my house. And have been inspired by this book: Sew Wild - Creating With Stitch and Mixed Media http://www.amazon.com/Sew-Wild-Creating-Stitch-Mixed/dp/1596683503 IP: Logged |

Lexx, I've been wanting to ask you something..could you email me *edit (i'll find another way to connect with you - had to take it down) when you get a sec? I'm going to take this down in a few, so let me know when youve got it. I am not able to email Mods from their links here. My computer pulls up the internal email, which i never set up and tries to prompt me to set up an account, which i don't need. anyway, drop me a line plz! IP: Logged |

I almost missed my bus back to NYC! I went to Metro Station (in DC) thinking that all transportation comes and goes there. Came to find out (with enough time to get there) that Greyhound has their own station 3 blocks away. All this after almost missing my bus to DC yesterday morning. I need a nap. IP: Logged |

Friday the 13th to Occur 3 Times, 13 Weeks Apart(Newser) – It's not just the Mayan calendar that's raising 2012 worries—our own calendar is stoking fear, too. This year, there are three Friday the 13ths, compared to the usual two. That last happened in 2009. What's even stranger is that exactly 13 weeks pass between the first and second occurrence, and between the second and third: The first is today, followed by April 13 and July 13, the News Journal reports. That hasn't happened since 1984, which was, like 2012, a leap year. http://www.newser.com/story/137420/friday-the-13th-to-occur-3-times-in-13-weeks.html ------------------ Proud Member of the Vatican Assassin Warlock Attack Squad! I don't think Ft13 is unlucky, but I just got back from shopping and had to deal with so many people lingering a long time in front of what I was trying to get at (no less than 5 times) as well as blocking the aisle (like 2 old men talking with their buggies completely blocking it off and other shoppers making it complicated to navigate as well so that I backtracked). And then I remembered wrong where my friend parked, too. It's been like 10 years since I've done that. IP: Logged |

I briefly put my hip out FQ, but after 2 beers and a panadol I was feeling wonderful, no more pain. And then it put itself back in place. Then had a magical evening with my one and only. IP: Logged |

I reconnected with a lot of people!!! Mercury must've been busy in my transit chart and 13 has always been a good number for me I talked to a friend I haven't seen for almost 6 years, I talked with my best friend who's currently in the US after a week(feels longer tho), I cemented my friendship and helped out another friend and sorted some stuff with yet another person. All in all, MWAAAAH!!! Me loves Friday the 13th ------------------ Ask Me anything. Anything. I will contrive to bring you the answer. The whole universe will I use to do this. So be on the lookout. Wow, interesting! Wonder what it means or if it was a message for you or me...or both? Cool. Yeah, i dream of knowflakes every so often too, though i don't think i've shared any. Maybe we should have a thread where we can share dreams we've had of each other. IP: Logged |
