Don't you think you're posting on the wrong message board? IP: Logged |

Well....it's not the ultimate truth. It can help us gain insight, but we can't let it completely control or dictate out lives.IP: Logged |

Lindaland, and all it's forums, is a board for people who believe in astrology. Therefore I think your chances for finding proof it's not real are extremely slim. It's like posting on a Christian board asking for proof that God is not real or that Jesus didn't rise from the dead. You'd do better to go to a message boards for skeptics. Heck, here's something I could find real fast (not that I bothered to do more than give it a very quick skim): http://skepdic.com/astrology.html IP: Logged |

I agree. In fact almost everyone I have been in a relationship with; appeared astrologically as perfect partners, soulmates and all. Ha! So not true enough. Yes, as with any form of divination, be it Astrology, Tarot, Lexigrams, etc., do not base your important life decisions on them alone.IP: Logged |

I don't want astrology to be true because i dont want the possibility of someone to be better friends with someone else based on their charts. I don't want to have fate dictated by it that I'll just never truly understand that person better than the other person can because their moons and suns are better matched. Not that i'm gonna let astrology control my life, but if it is 'true' and some people get along better because of their moons and i can't do anything about that, then I want very much to disprove it as much as i can. I'm not gonna let astrology 'win'.IP: Logged |

luckily that's not the way it works!btw, some of my most fantastic friendships and relationships were with people who had planets in harsh aspect to mine - we were able to learn alot more from each other and it was more exciting than someone who had many "easy" aspects to planets in my chart. Sometimes it's good to give astrology a break and just be you and go with the flow in a relationship - not mold it, or him or her, into how you think the relationship or person destined or supposed to be, just because some astro book told you so. And why not? That's something that might be worth thinking about... What's wrong with that, really? IP: Logged |
