So, anyone else having troubles with Facebook this evening? I made quite the rant during the Obama speech and immediately after I was unable to post on FB. My entire timeline is no longer visible to me, though my picture and banner and other top into is still appearing. I can also see what others are posting but am unable to post or "Like" any other comments. Maybe it's just a server thing with too many posting after the speech? I've never had this problem before so it is an INTERESTING coincidence. Others seem to be posting away and I could see a couple people commented on my status (on the side feed) for the first few minutes and then all of those people commenting disappeared as well, though all of the other people talking in the feed remain. Ahhh, the political activist site, "The Other 98%" just said they have been having severe technical difficulties over the last hour with some posts disappearing and then reappearing. How very very interesting. I see another site asking if anyone is having problems so I guess I don't have to keep listening for the helicopters and wondering when the men in black are going to come smashing through my windows. If ranting about Obama could get you disappeared then about my entire family would be gone. The government has done more to protect FOX than any other news station as well (presumably against Islamic terrorists as well as from OWS)so I don't think there's that much danger to those who criticize Obama. Probably a server issue. 'Course if you posted your rant on FB then someone at FB might've flagged you or something, but I'm not inclined to think people are out to get me so easily. Of course if you say anything like this guy then all bets are off and you should expect a visit from the MIBs shortly:

ok, I'm afraid to click on your link. lol I did make the joke toward the congress that "We know where you live" since their addresses are public from what I've heard so maybe I'm a threat to the State now. Frankly, I'm too tired to even Google their names and addresses, let alone visit them. I wasn't ranting too much about Obama. I was proud of him for saying what needed to be said. FB's been glitchy otherwise as well. Can't see comments/posts no matter how many times the page is refreshed, but get notifiactions about them.IP: Logged |

What happened is you attracted a lot of traffic with that post of yours. This can mess up your accessibility temporarily (depending on how bad the traffic got).Worry not. You won't disappear. IP: Logged |

Well, I'm still not able to post on FB and my entire timeline is still gone, other than the picture at the top.  Then, by some fluke (or ninjas in my bedroom at night) my modem became unplugged so I got up and couldn't access the internet and that freaked me out too. lol I turned into one of those morons who had to call tech support so they could ask me... "Is it plugged IN, Ma'am?"Cancer/Scorpio, yes, that is happened to me also, it says I have a bunch of notifications but then when I click them the number just disappears and nothing happens and I can't click any stories in the side feed. I also can't click "More" at the bottom of the page and cannot post "what I'm thinking" or comment or Like. I still think it's pretty dang convenient that FB goes on the glitch right after the president's speech. mockingbird, are you MOCKING me? lol That's ok, I'm just glad to hear I'm not specifically targeted. Dang, I'm glad I wasn't intoxicated or I would have had a heart attack. anongirl, well THAT is nice to know... as long as the post remains, that is ;D Regard, you don't believe in MOST conspiracy theories, eh? lol IP: Logged |

Fb has had many glitches for a while from lagging messages, blank messages or messages and comments not going through at all.------------------
