The Stock Market is closed on the weekend, but the company symbolized by your moniker here was up as of closing bell Friday.

Juni, in my game, I've made 5.7% in three days. I'm going to try to make 7% overall next week. If I'm able to do that, and I should probably check to see how consistent I can be over time, then I don't know why I shouldn't be day trading. At 7% a week it would still take a good long time to leave my job for it, but it would certainly put a light at the end of the tunnel. If I'm calculating right, 10 - 11 weeks is all it would take to double whatever I invest if I can earn 7% each week. That's without adding anything extra along the way. That's pretty insane, and that's not what I would call hard work.

Hit a snag today. If I'd have pulled all the way out within the first half an hour the market was open I would have met my goal. Unfortunately, I waited and lost some of that. Then I proceeded to lose most of it. Now I'm out with just a small gain. This will make things more interesting as I seek 7% over the course of this week.

EDIT: Ended today with only a .7% gain.

Lost money today. I'm back near Friday's total. I guess it's time for more experimentation.

Hey acoustic, that's great. Good luck with your paper trading.

Ummm, 7% gain per week is pretty aggressive.

I may wait for the bell tomorrow. I lost money today because the after hours trading devalued some of my picks, so when the market opened I immediately lost value.

Yesterday I read some stuff about day trading that made it seem like it wasn't a possibility. Someone wrote to a yahoo question poster that they couldn't day trade without 25k in their portfolio. However, upon inspection of the rules, the 25k minimum is if you're purchasing stocks on margin (purchasing stocks with the collateral you already have tied up in other stocks). If you're only risking your own cash, you're free to do as you like.

One of the Cardinal rules of day trading is to avoid holding any positions overnight.

Day traders typically sell out all their positions before the closing bell which raises their brokerage costs but protects them against bad news coming out after the closing bell or overnight trading running against their positions.

Well, I did it. I'm now $34 above the 7% mark for this week. Used a penny stock (ATVAM) to acheive it, though, and I'm not quite sure what I need to know about them.

Auto/Trucks parts in Amsterdam? I looked up the company name (Antonov), and there was a Russian airplane maker, but I'm not sure that's it.

Oh, here it is, I think: http://www.antonovplc.com/

My fiance made $50k in play money this morning. She's at 180,000 overall. I'm at $121k because I'm not going for super huge gains (though 21.9% over the course of 8 business days is pretty huge).

Not via this app, no.

I'm at $124,805 now. I'm wondering if RAND is going to hit again today. For the most part Rand Capital doesn't move. I think the movement comes when they release their earnings report, which is due today or tomorrow.

Signed up with E*Trade yesterday. They don't have my big money maker ATVAM (or SWAN, though they do have a different one for Swedish Auto), so I'll have to experiment with some others.

Up to $135,044 today.

Motorola runs on Android?
It would be easier for you to take screenshot,it is usually combination of 2 digits, like home button and button for unlocking/shooting.

Well, it looks as if ANON was most recently down .78%.

I haven't been using my LL ones lately, and I'm now at $167,930.
