Seems to be aimed at government infrastructure in America and the UK, not physical threats, except the Olympic ones. Please post links if you have heard more. I generally avoid the news.IP: Logged |

I wonder if this is a response to Anonymous making fools of the feds? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y88TtAH6bAM If so, I'm not worried. Granted, more malicious groups might try something more evil thinking that if Anonymous (mostly bored teenagers) can do it so easily then maybe they can, too. But the private corporations seem to have a vested interest in hiring the best to deal with the actual threats. And it's kinda funny, the feds warn us to protect our privacy to prevent phishing, scams, ID theft, and even terrorism, and yet recently said (probably in response to Anonymous kicking their butts again) people who do may be a terrorist. But I've never accredited the government with people who made sense or demonstrated consistency, not even the enforcers. IP: Logged | |
