It's always summertime here!

No, really though, many trees have lost their leaves. We've had a pretty warm winter here (if you can even call it that). Average temps have been 9* warmer than last year. They are mostly hovering in the low 80's lately. A rare cool day is always a nice change. I'm looking forward to new growth and flowers soon too.

I can't wait for Spring! I was born in the spring.
In the spring, all you need is a jacket or a sweater on cold days...and I can deal with that.

But winter...it's so much more work! Not only do you need a winter coat on, but warm clothes underneath that. When I take kids out to recess my legs get so cold long pants aren't enough. I usually have to wear leggings or long johns under, so the wind is less harsh, and fuzzy boots and fuzzy socks. Ugh and having to warm up your car, and get the snow off in the morning.
Been pretty lucky this year but still cold weather make me very uncomfortable.

I hear you. Not to mention lack of sunlight during the winter season. That's why I moved away. Couldnt take that season anymore.

I know. march 10th already. :/

Our trees are mostly dying off, and have been for the past few years. Two of them died five years ago, then my favourite one two years ago in May - it just started losing leaves, and hasn't grown any since. Another lost leaves on one part of it. One of the dead trees fell over in a strong wind two weeks ago.

Took a break from the convention yesterday to watch A Thousand Words with Eddie Murphy. Very touching film. It has a tree that is dying and losing leaves.
