Randell please could you 'take off' the time out feature? It's driving me mad. also can you explain why this forum has a password please? can this be taken off??

I don't have a time out feature. Must be an issue with your browser or stored cookies. I've tried to remove the Password. It may be irrevocable. I still play around with it occasionally trying to sleuth a solution.

after a while it keeps asking me for a password again, or I don't have permission to post in this forum..

I can give you special permission to post there, and that way you won't need a separate Password.

saggimc, when I've posted a response I always have to hit the refresh button on the browser... you should see your message straight away then as soon as the page reloads.

whatever you have done, isnt' working. I'm still having same problems. the 'time out' thing still happens and it's keeps asking me for a password after a certain length of time...

It will have the Password field, but you don't have to enter it. Try it. The timing out is your cookies.
