whatchu got? lol ...what'd he put in your lifetime's pocket? ...this time around... Are you utilizing it? Are you making him proud? Are you making yourself proud......feeling like youre accomplishing what you are here to accomplish? (if you don't like the word 'God", substitute it. It's not hard. What's your weapon? What are your strengths? What's your craft? What's your purpose? Are you working it?

I used to utilize it. I feel pretty useless, and have done for a while, but I used to be a hard worker, I had plans, I had fun researching things and worked hard at that, as well. I didn't give up so easily, but in other ways would be more easygoing.Although I think some of my depression and anxiety is valid, and we aren't rich, I've felt like I have a "poor little rich girl" thing going on, because my parents are so great, my sister is usually pretty great, and I've heard awful things about others' families. I don't know. He gave me a great family - that's what I have right now, with some bumps. I've been trying to get back to the old me. IP: Logged |

It is funny you do a thread about this as I have been thinking of this question. The Bible says "You must lose your life for My sake in order to gain it" That sounded like gobblety gook until recently when it hit me what it meant. It is a surrender of your life. Then you get it back but you are free. Men will always hurt you. So you are in bondage to men when you life is in your own hands.
For me, personally, it is to use what God has given me for His service. The charts show our gifts.I want to use mine to draw people to Him. If I do that, I will be happy and at peace when I die.

I have a great gift for making people stronger in themselves. I have realized that I can make them feel optimistic and make them always look at the brighter side. I have been using my skill to help people, friends, family , everyone I can help and I'm blessed!I hope I can use my gift far more efficiently than I am now! ------------------

God gave me a nice tush.  ... Seriously, though.  I have a compulsive need to be of service to others. I'm the type to drop what I'm doing and help someone out, as long as it's a practical, tangible thing. (Virgooooooo Moon) I need to learn how to help people in a more emotional way, though. When someone comes to me complaining about something, I try to come up with practical solutions to remedy what they're complaining about, but sometimes they just want sympathy. An example would be my ex moaning about how he's lonely and needs to get laid. I suggest, if he wants to get laid that badly, to go on one of those websites the gays are fond of for finding people to get their jollies. I am thusly labeled an insensitive prick.  IP: Logged |
