Just came back from the Bloody (Vampire Diaries) Con in Germany. And since the third season hasnīt yet finished here in Germany, I can honestly say I`ve been spoilered by Mr Paul Wesley and Mr Ian Somerhalder in person. EDIT: gosh, I am so tired! No clue how I shall be working today.
And just in case anyone watches it here and wondered about it as well: YES, Ian`s eyes are THAT blue!

Ian SPOILED the surprise!!!!!! Damn it, bad Ian, bad bad bad Ian. Worse than Damon.
No seriously i kinda knew before as I had stumnbled across a video on you tube. But he was amazing, the management was completely overwhelmed and he did THREE additional photoshootings. THREE. ADDITIONAL. He was working non stop. I mean sure he got payed, but still. What an energy! And such a professional and never even showing how tired he must have been. He made a lot of girls happy last weekend (just by being so nice, not what you may think ).
Well, I did not queue for a photo or autograph, cause I simply don`t BUY hugs or the right to look into these amazing eyes. Well, I was granted that opportunity by chance. lol
Most of the times i felt like I was from another world. What is all that screaming about? I mean he is amazing, gorgeous, charming, inspired and all, but at the end of the day, he is just a man, right? IP: Logged |

What do you mean by THAT??? You didn't take his pic? OMG, you saw him live... *gasps* Ceri, if you weren't so dear to me I'd seriously envy your guts right about now! J/k. Ok, maybe a little bit In a totally friendly, harmless way! Damn, might be just a man, but so damn gorgeous!! IP: Logged |

You can bet on that! Compared to real life Ian Damon is pretty average-ugly. lol And yes, his eyes are THAT blue. But his charisma is so much more than that. I was rolling my eyes everytime someone said he was hot or sexy, cause he may be, but that is not the amazing thing about him. He is generous, compassionate, caring, very attentive, and inspired, inspired, inspired. I love the things he sais, the utter conviction in his words, how passionate he is about his ideals, he is so so so Sagittarius! lol IP: Logged |

Ceri, seems like you're officially out of your stressed out period!! And all it took was a pair of "THAT blue" eyes to cheer you up. If I'd known, I'd have ordered you a pair of blue eyes instead of hijacking your "Random Tarot Question" thread to fill it with funnies!! JUST KIDDING!!! I'm glad you stayed out all night to see Mr. Ian IP: Logged |

Any idea why young people these days are obsessed with blood, guts and fangs, warewolves, witches and zombies....??? Or why it is all the rage?I'm wondering if there is a generational astrological significator to all of this.... IP: Logged |

T, maybe its not astrological, but biological....just look at how Ceri is virtually drooling over this Ian------------------ I once saw a sign that said "sin is death" but if "all deaths are suicide (linda goodman)" and suicide is sin, then shouldnt "death is sin" be more appropriate? when organic is used to describe food then you know we have come to a dark age in history IP: Logged |

Hey, Ceri.I grew to like his character as the series progressed. When he first appeared he was mean and cold, later we got to see that underneath all that, he had a "heart"

I am actually not so fond of Damon. My interest was increased because of interviews of Ian Somerhalder. I grew to have a real admiration for the guy. He basically restored my faith in "man-kind". IP: Logged |

Don`t laugh at me, Charmaine. It`s true.I came home and started to talk a bit about what he said and his projects, and my mum took over and talked and talked, and then I grinned at her and nodded and said: Yup, that`s what I`ve been hearing all weekend. I tell you this to illustrate that it seems that either Ian and me have enjoyed a very similiar education, or he just expresses thoughts and ideas that are very very important to me and my family as well. Whenever he starts talking, I feel like nodding as it is so exactly what I think, and I am just happy and thankful that this man exists and that he has the power to make these ideas being HEARD. I mean, he has been speaking in front of the congress and had breakfast with Obama, for heaven`s sake!
I am usually wary of people having this much of "power of influence", but I feel that at least at this point he is using his popularity to shake up people, making them see the need of education, compassion, caring, which to a great deal includes caring for environmental issues, protecting nature and animals, and educating children so they develop a respect and tolerance for one another and any form of life. How can I not love such a man? Seriously
----------------
Oh T,
most of the girls love him because he`s sexy and hot and charming and caring and being so approachable, when as the height of his popularity he is not supposed to be like that I think. But for ME, ultimatively (though I love me some vampires, and I have found some years ago wha the symbol really means for me personally and why it speaks to me; if you want I can elaborate on that, but it is just me personally), I feel it is so shortsighted. There are quite some handsome young actors on TV these days. He`s special for his personality and for his involvement in environmental causes, and for the ability to make his voice heard without being aggressive about his ideals. Just enthusiastic and convinced, and I just love him for that. When I first heard him speak like that and realized the impact it had not only on me, but served as making some youngsters conscious about the world they are living in, I sat down, started to cry and just said: "Thank God. You exist."
I do not usualy have THAT Strong reactions to actors, believe me. But I feel the world has a better chance, because people like him (and of course there are others, too) are in it.

Not any pair of blue eyes will do. And actually I did not really stay out to see him. I wasn`t tired yet, and well, it was just coincidence. But I liked that kind of coincidence. IP: Logged |

Wasn't laughing at you. It was your comment about the character, Damon, which was amusing. Was thinking, oh shucks, I like the evil one because many like Stephan. ------------------ quote: Remember, love can conquer the influences of the planets....It can even eliminate karma.

Charmaine, yes, I know. I somehow fell into a rant there. Anyway, I like Damon, there was this naughty playful quality about him, and I never really liked Stefan until recently. But these things never last long for me. And I see it like he said, if you get to the core of it and strip away the supernatural element he is doing really nasty things to Caroline (and others) and he sais he was kind of shocked to hear 12 year old girls claim to him, that this was so cool and hot. As he said it clearly is not. It is fun to play as a fiction on TV, but it is NOT cool, if you think of it in real life terms. BTW Paul Wesley surprised me. I know some claim he is a Diva, I thought he is just more reserved, but has this dry sense of humour and I liked him as well.

Do your best, Missie.
No, no gushing, as realistic Cappy-Venus and analytical Aqua-Moon I am just giving you the cold hard facts. He`s perfect. That is no gushing or drooling, but an asessment of his personality, based on objective parameters. LOL
Or not?

But ... let's see ... hmm ... K, I'm still going with the "Or not?" IP: Logged |

Ceri, wanted to tell you that I saw your email but couldn't reply because we're having that audit I told you about - today and tomorrow, I am now waiting for them to go through my paperwork and then they're gonna nitpick it and ask me questions . I was too stressed out to answer, but will do soon. Bah, the waiting is gonna kill my arteries. IP: Logged |
