A key part of my first leaving of adolescence was to David Bowie's music and then again when both pop and underground music came to a zenith he reemerged ( of course after many imitators tried to out-Bowie Bowie- so he outdid them and took the pisX2 on them by parodying himself!)and I had left the military for the first time...and it was a bridge between past and present and another transition...
