I noticed that just the other night. Is it too hot, or something? Normally, they're making all sorts of noise, and I love it.IP: Logged |

It's been in the 90's - early last week, it was briefly in the 70's (and beautiful! I love that weather). It's going to be 100 degrees on Friday. :/ I have seen a frog out on the growing veggies, so I know that they aren't all dead. A toad was hopping along the path the other night, I think it was enjoying the rain we had (it's been sparse here). IP: Logged |

Now that you mention it, no. No crickets making noise. There are a few live ones in my basement. I like them so I just let them live there. However, no sound of them at night. IP: Logged |

Frogs were singing here (England) in late Feb early March.Other than that our wildlife seems rather diminished. IP: Logged |

In the meantime, you can enjoy this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GYHdnvsGSO8 ------------------ "The snake which cannot cast its skin has to die. As well the minds which are prevented from changing their opinions; they cease to be mind." --- Friedrich Nietzsche IP: Logged |

They're back. They've been back since Sunday, when I heard a faint chirping. IP: Logged |
