Many consider this day bad luck in western superstitions.

Strangely enough, Friday the 17th is considered bad luck in Italian culture and the number 13 is seen as lucky.

Personally, I don't regard these numbers as bad luck, especially if you understand the numerological meanings.

It goes back to the Last Supper (Jesus plus 12 disciples). But 13 is a very lucky number.
