I'm about seventeen weeks and one day now and my day sickness is starting to subside, but I still get nausea from time to time. Also, the cravings have started to kick in and I had to give in and buy some Arby's the other day and I don't even like Arby's, but that roast beef sandwich and curly fry large combo satisfied my cravings.

This is my first pregnancy and I've had to learn the hard way about what to eat and what not to eat and do some extensive research online.

So far I have developed a food aversion to:
-Tomatoes
-Hamburger meat
-Onions
-Ranch Dressing
-Plain water
-Oranges
-Hot Dogs
-Sausage
-Bacon
-Lettuce
-Nacho Cheese
-Chips of any kind
-Soda
-Coffee
-Oatmeal
-Pizza
-Pastas that use tomato sauce
-Barbeque-(This is kinda a bummer since summer is all about barbeque)
-Saltine Crackers
-Mexican cuisine-No tacos or beans
-Chili
-Rice

Food/Drinks I do enjoy:
-Ginger Ale
-Wheat Thins
-Occasional fish/I watch the red mercury levels (Was not big on fish before pregnancy, but now I want it)
-Bananas
-Peaches
-Chicken
-Ensure Nutritional Shakes(Chocolate)
-Mild Curries
-Water with lemon
-Sierra Mist
-Chinese food- Lo Mien
-Shellfish in moderation- craving crab legs with butter
-Nutella
-Strawberries
-Toast
-Lightly dressed Subway Italian B.M.T with cucumbers, olives and oil and vinegar and a pinch of salt and pepper
-Potatoes
-Chicken Broth
-Alfredo based pastas
-Noodles, but no Ramen noodles blech
-And gummy multiday vitamins in place of the prenatal vitamins.

If any moms or moms to be have any suggestions, recipes, or tips I'd love to hear them.

Take a superfood, green kind of powder. Get a really good quality. My favorite is Super food by Dr Shultz
1-800 HERB DOC
I only wish I knew this when I was pregnant. The doctors don't tell you the simple things. IT makes me livid.

B vitamins can get rid of morning sickness, usually.

Oh my goodness those cravings are very familiar lol i want to say a little girl but it could very well be a boy...

Mine turned out to be a boy but i craved alot of pasta and a heavy tomato meat sauce lol lots of meat, cereal, vegetarian sushi drowning in spicy mayo, lemon water, oj, cucumbers, fried pickles, croissants with strawberry cream cheese, peaches, nectarines, oranges, strawberries and ice cream, yogurt lol and i couldnt cut out my coffee... I managed by dragging out my 1 daily coffee through out the day by taking a few sips here and there to wet my pallette. It was torture as i normally drink 2/3 cups daily lol

I avoided chinese food, subway, chocolates, sweet pastries, bread, toast and crackers and chicken tho.

Like ami said vitamin B6 helped my morning sickness with my 2 nd and 3 rd preganncy... Since in the early weeks i was pretty pukey, i would cut it in 4 quaters and take each half every few hrs through out the day.

I also made it a point to have a smoothie of green apples and carrots. Or banana, strawberry mango on a daily basis.

Careful with your fish intake and processed food.

I also took fish oil.

Ps:CONGRATS
