I miss myspace, I felt like it was a true social networking site and not a popularity contest like facebook. I met a lot of cool people on there. IP: Logged |

I miss it, too. FB has so many glitches, it's annoying! ------------------ quote: Remember, love can conquer the influences of the planets....It can even eliminate karma.

It exists. People just don't go there much. Justin Timberlake bought it and is trying to revive it. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." I think all social network sites are there to control humanity. Never liked any of them and never had an account.IP: Logged |

My MySpace experience seems to be a lot different. I don't miss it because I remember all of those times people would make their page virtually impossible to load and navigate. Everything was hidden and images/marquees were added. Now Facebook has its downsides, too. It's turned into a, "let me post everything I think, do, and say on this page" kind of website. IP: Logged |

I miss MySpace also. Despite some people having really busy graphics on their pages making it difficult to navigate, MySpace allowed people to let their creativity run wild. I have my own little conspiracy theory that "someone" out there, you know, "them", that they are afraid of so much creativity and it started to get shut down. I have a musician page still active on MySpace and my astrology page, but they've made so many changes that it's not the same. Not only that, the place is so infested with virus's, anytime I go there now my alarms, bells & whistles start to go off on my security software. But yes, I miss it very much. I seem to remember that the one thing that was great about Facebook was the "exclusivity". Everyone wanted to have an account because only exclusive ivy league colleges were allowed to join. Now everyone and their goldfish can join, so what's the allure of it now? It's the same as MySpace except without individualized pages. Every page is stark white and set up exactly the same. I joined Facebook under a false name so I could vote for a friend to win a 50,000 grant for her charity and it could only be done through that site. She won and now I have no reason to go to Facebook at all. I find it to be very suspect that a majority of sites on the internet ask you to comment only through Facebook. It's annoying, like you don't matter at all unless you are on Facebook, you can't join in on conversations on sites that have nothing to do with Facebook unless you're a member. I find it scary. Anyway, thanks for asking the question. I've been needing to rant about that for a very long time and yes, I do miss MySpace. IP: Logged |

Someone needs to do a new one that combines the best elements of both FB and MS.------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca Clark IP: Logged |

Good to see you again GeoV I agree to the above. I don`t find it scary per se but annoying. It`s like they are trying to fit everyone into a specific mold and means to communicate. ------------------ We dance around the ring and suppose, but the secret sits in the middle and Knows Robert Frost IP: Logged |

I like facebook, Myspace went to he|| once tom sold it and those advertisements took over almost absolutely everything! And from what i recall, having 10,000 friends on myspace was a popularity contest. At least facebook limits to a certain number. I don't miss it at all, actually. IP: Logged |

I miss myspace for the fact that it was more geared towards socializing, with everybody! I talked to lots of interesting people from all over the country, facebook is not set up for that. facebook punishes you for trying to branch out and meet new people, if you add somebody you don't know and they deny your request your profile can get suspended. I understand that some people want to only talk to people they know irl, but that's not me.why limit yourself to family, co-workers, and high school alum when there's a whole world of interesting people to chat with?IP: Logged |

It's really creepy to friend strangers, unless they give you permission. Creepy, and inappropriate. IP: Logged |
