Do you guys just have some song or an event or movie that remind you of something carefree and fun? Everytime i hear that jennifer page song "Crush" i always go into this giggly 90's mode where teen comedies were popular and MTV actually bothered playing music videos... The 90s had their moments for me, but overall I don't look back. In retrospect I'm surprised I wasn't a goth given my tastes, though The Nightmare Beyond Christmas is about the only thing I still truly love from back then that makes me feel...I don't know, young.I had a lot of fun living with Granny, but I was mostly surrounded by country music...some of it ok and even fun, but I'm still recovering from when they tried to break my spirit by playing Achy Breaky Heart nonstop. Will the scars of childhood never heal?  Crush did remind me of then, though. One of the more light fun and harmless legacies. IP: Logged |
