Even though we should show gratitude every day, we don't always remember to, in the hustle/bustle of life. There are 40 days until Thanksgiving (actually 39, I am late) can you accept the challenge to think of something that you are grateful for? Every day for 40 days??

I'll start! Today I am grateful for the vet who helped my Sweetie Dog feel better. God Bless vets! They are in it for love, not money.

Gypsee!!

I was thinking about the thread from last year, the other day. I had a long list of gratitudes the other day, and now I'm struggling for one...

I'm grateful for the Brian Weiss talk that was broadcast on the internet last night, even though I blanked out at the crucial bit during the regression and don't remember anything - I became more alert when it was over and he was relating someone else's experience.

I've been flirted with several times over the past few days, too. Cute guys, who are a little young for me, but it's made me smile.

does this mean Canadians are exempt from this as we just celebrated our Thanksgiving?

Nope emitres. Means you have to be twice as thankful to catch up to our approaching Thanksgiving Day

I am thankful it stopped snowing so I can clean gardens up for winter.

I'm grateful for a bit of sleep, hot showers, hot tea, a House marathon, and dogs that cuddle right into you. the cat did, too, at one point.

I'm thinking of privately doing the exercise from something about making miracles in forty days, in which you list ten things a day, that include things that you really don't appreciate at all. I never get very far with it, because some things just suck, but things keep taking a nosedive (like last friday, when things happened, or the past few days when things happened, or the day the police were called because we were fighting so much - fun times!)

Nobody has died recently - in the past month or two. that's something.

I am thankful for allergies that have calmed down, a warm cozy home of my own this year, and finally finding the confidence to express myself on a grander scale!

I'm grateful for an apology. Everything isn't okay, but there is some understanding on one front.

I am thankful for friends who genuinely take time to listen. Not "hear" but listen with the heart
