Thank you. I do my best as a nurturing father but nevertheless a harsh disciplinarian that demands very high standards in everything he does. Three Moderators in this forum have questioned my abilities and suitability as a parent. I beg to differ, and I just do what I can. As you know, I have a highly respectful but nevertheless very strained relationship with my father. Any assessment of his strengths cannot be unaccompanied by his failings. Now isn't the time to diss the man. He just passed. But I will provide the assessment in due course and it isn't my style to withhold the punches. IP: Logged |
