Yay, juni! I just bought some Yankee Candles. "Balsam and Cedar" is my current favorite. Very seasonal, too. Have you tried "Village" candles?

I love the Balsam and Cedar

I was in Wal Mart buying my dogs insulin and saw some candles and smelled them. Wow, for an inexpensive candle, they are awesome. They`re Better Homes brand and the scents I bought are Cinnamon and Vanilla and Cinnamon Apple Spice. They scent the whole room for 4.99 a piece.

I don`t recall Village candles but will keep my eye out for them .

I love candles! Aside from Yankee candles, I love Diptyque, pure integrity soy candles, Ergo candles, and recently Diamond Candles because there of their prize inside. My favorite scents are sandlewood, gardenia, Myrrhe , chai latte and Iris.

That's my candle! Burn it almost every day lately.

I candles, they liven my life up. I light them in the morning when I read and sip my coffee...they just add so much to the atmosphere.

I like earthier smells and currently have a delicious sandlewood-and-something candle I've been burning.

I'm a little picky, though.
Many candle scents smell too fake for me (sniffs my Taurean Venus )

OMG a woman after my heart!

Yea, Taurus moon, PIsces sun in the 4th..I am NEVER without them!

My fav is, tho, a brand that is produced in Fredericksburg, TX.

Amazing scent...

Yankee would be my second.

I find at our local grocers a very nicely scented Soy candle collection.

And shhhhhsh....I often have lit battery opperated candles...just for the glow.

When I was a kid I used to make candles and I want to get back to that.

I am fixin to travel to Indiana to spend a week with my grandpa in my homeland.

Since I cant carry on my b-loved candles, I will stop at Walmart and purchase a few..

GREAT THREAD!

Yay, hippi!

So far I've tried "White Xmas", "Be Thankful" and "Mountain Lodge" from Yankee Candle in addition to the "Balsam and Cedar"

I love all the Xmas scents!

Recently bough a room spray that smells of pinewood. It's fantastic!

I'm a little worried about how artificial those scents probably are, so will continue to search for fragrance alternatives. In the meantime, it's wonderful that it's Christmas season and I can get away with all the wreath, mistletoe, cedar and pine smells!

(I'm a big sucker for scents. I've been known to rub juniper berries on my wrists just so I can keep smelling them through the day!)

Yin, do you have any oil burners? I think they burn cleaner than candles and don't fill the room with harmful things to breathe in (someone told me most candles do).

I have about six burners and love to fill them up with essential oils I pick up from a natural foods store. I pick up tea lights for them in bulk. Usually put some oil (whatever's on hand) and water in mine and then a lot of drops of the concentrated essential oils. Makes the place smell lovely very quickly.

Favorites are Ylang Ylang, Lemongrass, Jasmine.

I'm always stocked with Nag Champa incense too. And usually have sticks burning and oil burners going all day.

Ah yes! That's it!

Though it doesnt scream "mens cologne" to me. It's just a nice earthy smell.
