I've been looking into NDE's lately, via YouTube videos. The discrepancies between all the various accounts has annoyed and discouraged me. I used to feel that peace was on the other side, no matter what. But some people convincingly relate experiences of travelling to hell.So I looked at the Hell section on that page, and got some more insights. I like this one: quote:
Heaven and hell are spiritual states of being. They are not static states but are states in which there can be growth and progress toward ultimate wholeness of being.
Simple, but it resolves some inner tension I was feeling, as I tried coming to terms with the possibility that hell exists. If it does exist, maybe it's not like the hell we know, the eternal lake of fire, but more along the lines of a very bad mood one goes through. I'll look at that page more. Thanks!
