Just a heads up, I closed my Facebook profile as I have no use for it whatsoever. I'm simply done. I am not anti Facebook & no nothing is wrong. (that's the first thing people ask me, lol.) I sent a message to most but I didn't delete or block anyone. I have a page that is for future projects - which I prefer because I can not stand that darn news feed. I will put that up at a later time in KTAA. I'm done with groups and everything else, nothing's wrong, I'm just done. I had a few personal insights and one of them was about leaving Facebook which has been easy and not missed. I have increased my productivity by 30% since doing so. Best thing I've ever done. Just thought I'd share that part too. ------------------ "Far away there in the sunshine are my highest aspirations. I would do the same if I could and barely use FB at all anyway. I only keep it for the LL groups and for Charmaine and for Knowflakes to be able to message me if something goes wrong here. ------------------ "Fall down 100 times, get up 101...this is success." --ME IP: Logged |

It appears many people are seeing the need to leaving FB. They`ve told me it`s made their life too hectic yet impersonal. ------------------ We need to listen to our own song, and share it with others, but not force it on them. Our songs are different. I see headlines in the news every so often about new (frightening) things Facebook is doing. I don't trust it at all and am glad I ditched a long time ago.It is easy to spend too much time on it too and get distracted and neglect important things in life. I do miss being able to keep up with old friends sometimes, especially a few funny characters in my life - it was the easiest way to keep up with goings on, but I don't really need it or think it's worth it. I like my privacy too much as well and having a Facebook almost forces you - or gives you more reason to share things in your life that you normally wouldnt, or feel a need to. I'd rather everyone not know my Likes and Dislikes and everythiing else about me. That is uncomfortable to me and I do miss the days when these types of social networks didnt exist and no one had a cell phone or internet etc. The good old days. Not to say it's all bad or anything. Sometimes I just miss how things used to be. IP: Logged |
