Today's alignment of Mercury, Venus and Saturn with the pyramids at Giza, Egypt, is a sign of the greater cycles of change that we are going through. December 21, 2012 is a date that entered mass consciousness twenty-five years ago 1987 during the first summer of the Harmonic Convergence. At that time the rare confluence of five planets in Leo dramatized the idea that our civilization had gotten off track and needed a fifty-year realignment. The first half of the Convergence, from 1987 to 2012, was needed to draw mainstream attention to the fact of how far off-track we'd gotten. The second half, from 2012 to 2037, was needed to get us back on track.

I see today's Pyramid Alignment in Scorpio, which has been going viral on the internet, as the Midpoint Gateway between the two chapters of this half-century realignment. Mercury, Venus, and Saturn, are the Outer, Inner and Grand Spheres of human attention. The outer sphere contains celestial events, like today's Gateway Alignment, as well as social events, like the circles of belonging you fit in -- relationship, family, neighborhood, tribe, world. The inner sphere contains the deeper hidden realm of what's going on inside you, the many layers of your own consciousness, your past, your past lives, your ancestral roots, your core nature that is seeking to emerge through your personality-self. The Grand Sphere contains the spiritual purpose your soul chose to fulfill when it decided to reincarnate into your current life, which is but one of many chapters of the greater reincarnational journey of the soul.
