There are many awesome things in this life.

What are the things that take your breath away?
What gives you the warm and fuzzies?
What makes you glad to be experiencing the here-and-now?

Today, for me: Pfeffernüssen, café con leches, and those cool round looms you can use to knit hats and stuff.

Oh! And the cartoon Bob's Burgers.

Also, come to think of it: Totero.

Incidentally, Swedish (though not as much as Norwegian) makes me feel like I'm going mad.

They're just enough like English that it initially seems like I've forgotten how to understand the language.

^ LOL...I get that!

At first I thought you were going to say, the high-pitched singing in that song drives you insane...cuz it spins my head a bit. But I like the rest so I endure it.

Shameless praise for the day:

My eldest drew this picture of Smaug:

We'll ignore that Smaug has no legs.
The awesome blew them off.

Today: SNOWFLAKES!

A storm trooper, an x-wing, and a (sort of) Tardis (I don't have a craft knife, so there are a few large windows rather than many small ones).

A rebel fighter, C3PO, and an oddly Dalek-esque R2D2

The First Hummingbird, The First Narcissus.

"Ode to the West Wind"
Percy Bysshe Shelley
(First Draft & Final Cantos)

Make me thy lyre, ev'n as the forest is:
What if my leaves are falling like its own!
The tumult of thy mighty harmonies
Will take from both a deep autumnal tone, 60
Sweet though in sadness. Be thou, Spirit fierce,
My spirit! be thou me, impetuous one!
Drive my dead thoughts over the universe,
Like wither'd leaves, to quicken a new birth;
And, by the incantation of this verse, 65
Scatter, as from an unextinguish'd hearth
Ashes and sparks, my words among mankind!
Be through my lips to unawaken'd earth
The trumpet of a prophecy! O Wind,
If Winter comes, can Spring be far behind?

I love that Alson Skinner Clark impressionist painting

A few years ago, [I think] SpringHill, ran it on the cover of their sale catalog.
It may have been Henry Field tho... hmmmm.

I did my level best to find the one that most embodied the sight, and that one came close.

It's the same state, so.

It truly was amazing, and happened between those two posts!

Juni, I always feel that I have a lot in common with you. From posts that I have read in the past, anyway.
