Are there anyone here who likes reading manga?I'm looking for recommendations. I just finished Boku wa Imouto ni Kowi wo Suru and Midnight Secretary. I prefer Josei, Smut, Romance Drama/Comedy, Fantasy/Supernatural. No Shoujo or Yaoi please I look at the Art too.. Josei with nice plot and art and released in the year 2000 onwards. Well I would if I had the time, only red a few... But watch many Anime versions of the Manga originals. You cant go wrong with Love Hina, Fruit Baskets, or Kenshin ------------------ ~*~ Did you know that a circle is round? ~*~ - Tautology You can't handle my level of Tinfoil! ~ {;,;} IP: Logged |

I'm more into anime than manga before. But these past few years I've been more into manga. I'm a fast reader so I prefer manga now. Anyway, I already watched those you listed since I'm a RomCom fan..and yeah Kenshin! It's a classic. I'm gonna watch the Live Action of that. One of my favs are Ouran High School Host Club, Kaichou wa Maid-sama, Itazura na Kiss, Special A, Fushigi, Nodame Cantabile etc.. But I want something more mature now..again, josei/smut. ------------------ In the middle of every difficulty lies opportunity - Albert Einstein IP: Logged |

I know Ghost in the Shell. Didn't watch it nor read it coz I'm not a fan of Seinen. I've watched Death Note, didn't read the manga too. I'M MORE INTO ROMANCE! These are my fav so far: Anata ni Hana o sasagemashou, Barairo My Honey, Love Cruise, Majo no Biyaku. ALL JOSEI.

mmk it's easier now knowing what you've already read! haha ^^I've read quite a fair share of manga in just about every genre over the years... no otaku, but avid reader... helped me study Japanese, and getting involved with translations was an easy way to get the next chapter ahead of others! lmao so... If you haven't already read these, and you are okay with the MA/smut josei genres~ may I recommend my favourite mangakas works...? it seems you already read one! so... hopefully, you'll like these~ Kindan no Koi de Ikou (series) ★★★★ and Midnight Secretary ★★★★★ by ohmi tomu ------------- and this is not MA but it is josei ad a great manga nonetheless -- just a bit older I believe... Oishii Kankei ★★★★★ by Satoru Makimura ------------ and... this last one Hotaru no Hikari ★★★★★ by Satoru Hiura ----------------- they all have great storylines, multidimensional characters, and a of course pleasant art --- light on humour, mostly won't let you put them down/stop reading, and you can even watch a live action of some of 'em... I have a few others on my mind but yeah - my memory is like a goldfish, maybe I'll remember the titles later! haha ~hope this helps happy reading! IP: Logged |

Ohmi Tomu's work is really good. Really beautiful art.
I'll add Kindan no Koi de Ikou to my plan to read list...that's probably my next one. And will check out the others now. Thanks! ------------------ In the middle of every difficulty lies opportunity - Albert Einstein
