My husband is VERY ill in Intensive Care
Most of day at hospital,
and only I just got home.
He is very ill and will not know until morning if he will require surgery.
Needed IV antibiotics for a bad abdominal infection.
On continuous insulin drip because his sugar was 595. 
Didn't even know he was a type one diabetic. 
I am as most know;
totally disabled.
Our income is my small disability income.
This is a nightmare to say the least.
No one to help.
No insurance either.
May be days there.
I just needed to vent or go mad.
PS.
And I am ill with a nasty bug to boot.

Seriously  laughing icons are not on my mind.Hearing words like critical in the ER and ICU are bad.
I am scared really scared.

Now I feel worse.
I was too ill to stay with him this early morning.
My disabilities were affecting me too much.
My legs and body were giving out on me from the stress to my neurological damage and being too long at the ER without my meds or eating and sitting too long.
They had to wheel me to the bathroom and all.
Bad enough they wanted to admit me to the hospital too. continued next post...... IP: Logged |

Please send healing energies for my husband. 
On top of his new woes, he has seizures and severe depression.
Please send wishes for me to have the stamina to get through this.
My being disabled is being a real problem.
I had to leave him and come home for my meds
and all so my body will not go wonkyier.
They also do not let folks stay all night, no matter how ill.
I hate fraking hospitals.

Thank you LexxI looked up "compassion" on internet and found a link on the wikipedia's page to a lecture of the Dalai Lama on compassion It will not make disapear your suffering, but I would not have found it without you that is why I thank you. Sorry you are going through this awful stuff! I'm glad that your husband is being taken care of. Maybe he can go on disability too, now? Waiting for hospital to call so will not reply to all you kind folks 
individually at the moment.
Latest news is he has stabilized a bit and the three types of IV antibiotics seem to be working so hopefully he will not need surgery.
His sugar went from 595 down to 80.
I must go rest a bit and do my pain and antispasmodic meds so I can go see him later.

I would be losing it otherwise.
Feel like I am in a nightmare fog.
Once I feel I can relax I will let myself feel it all and purge.
But now I feel dazed shocked and numb.

Oh Lexxi *GREAT BIG HUGS*I'm glad his condition is more stable. I'm sending positivity and Love and blessings and prayers both yours and your husband's way. Keep your chin up the best you can. Of late, I`ve spent an over abundance of time in ICU too so I know the angst. Prayers for his rapid and complete recovery. ------------------
