Good for you, aquaguy! Elsie Sechrist humorously told stories about 'meditation lice' that begin to crawl around on your skin when you start getting your body still .... IP: Logged |

i did kind of get a tingly feeling while meditating but it wasnt like lice crawling on my skin. it was more like energy entering my body, it was pretty cool. IP: Logged |

Very cool AquaGuy!the first time I did it was in the summer. I was told to lay on my back til I got at sea feeling. I did it with my eyes open with the lights off. It was freaky to see the room get darker than it was. (wasn't used to laying down relaxed keeping my eyes open so it freaked my out) Then I heard my heart beat very loud. Then I think I got at sea feeling. Yeah I keep my eyes closed when I do it now haha. IP: Logged |

I learned meditation in my teenage years through an Edgar Cayce 'study group.'Attended a meditation workshop through A.R.E. (Edgar Cayce) in Long Island, NY, on April 3, 1977... I know this because of the coincidence finding your topic after looking at my astrology charts of that day in my past, right before I signed on to the computer today. I had had a premonition of 9-11 driving back home from the workshop across one of the NY-NJ bridges that day. Today, we had a Mars-Chiron conjunction in Pisces, along with Mercury, near that SAME degree of 1977 Mars... just one of those interesting light coincidences. Meditation is discipline... Maybe if you're interested, you could contact an EdgarCayce group in your area... Learn meditation with "safer" people, more grounded way. (audio) John Van Auken introductory lecture (A.R.E. I think depends alot on where your Mercury is...mine in Aqua, along with all my crazy other Aqua stuff...I have a hard time quieting the mind, but when I do.... I am gone~ IP: Logged |

Hippi, I am with you. Mercury in Aqua, 11th, cannot quiet my mind enough really. If the terms are right though, it takes an earthquake to bring me back. The only thing that truly works for me is a Celtic flute cd and an empty house, VERY hard to come by. IP: Logged |

meditation has been a god send for me..feeling alot better... a couple of things have happened the past few days that would have made me extremely angry otherwise, but now i have a new perspective on things.

If you want a laugh, mentally replace the title of this thread with masturbation instead of meditation and re-read the thread ------------------ ~*~ Did you know that a circle is round? ~*~ - Tautology You can't handle my level of Tinfoil! ~ {;,;} IP: Logged |

My apologies if anyone is offended by my post, as my dark humor has often been known go a rye However I do honestly feel masturbation can be as meditatively powerful in contrast with other methods ------------------ ~*~ Did you know that a circle is round? ~*~ - Tautology You can't handle my level of Tinfoil! ~ {;,;} IP: Logged |
