I live in new york, and The other day I was at fairway, and there was this guy talking with some female there, and he said something like " have you tried spotted dick before?". And she responded with " I love that stuff! I had it during my trip to London!"... Ummmmm. Needless to say I was Shocked and grossed out at first. As I "casually" walked by them -slowly-, I heard them talk a little more about this .."Spotted Dick "stuff lol, And how great it tasted yada yada., I eventually got the feeling they were talking about some sweet pastry or something. yet I couldn't believe there was such dessert with a name like that. I had seriously imagined a plate with an infected (animals) penis with nasty spots on it. Like some weird "exotic" delicacy. i looked it up on google, and it happens to be that this stuff is some canned sweet pudding-like thing from the UK LOL. But that name though?
