mmm maple syrup! do you retail it or just indulge yourselves juni?? our winter has been colder and drier than usual tho we had some weather last night! i have been loving it since my walls are rather porous in the rains! and the sunshine has been fabulous, blossoms everywhere, but not dogwood yet. giant magnolias, climbing roses, fruit blossoms galore, tea tree and daffs, all out. the first fruit flowers are usually in january but this year they were late. march is big birthday month in my family, evenly divided between aries and pisces folk, here and in england. kat, the syrup is for our , family & friends indulgance. We will have enough this season to share a plenty. We stil have about 2 1/2 ft of heavy snow... though it is softening up, so any flowers are a good month or so off. I do cheat and I have crocus planted under my dryer vent so I get blooms when there is still a foot of snow ------------------ We need to listen to our own song, and share it with others, but not force it on them. Wow, I don't remember that! I remember it being stormy on my birthday, five days before.I was exhausted and trying a reading with my faeries oracle, out on the deck, before it started to spit with rain, not long after. I know it snowed on my birthday, in the early hours, in 2004, though. Ugh to snow in April.

I might have the wrong date; It was probably the year before, 2005? quote:
#3) Winter 2004-05 Historic Seasonal Snowfall - Snowfall during the 2004-2005 season was well above normal across most of northern Ohio and northwest Pennsylvania. Record seasonal snow fell at Cleveland with 117.9 inches. In Mansfield, 86.6 inches of snow fell, making it the second snowiest winter on record. Snow totals ranged from over 200 inches in northern Geagua County to less than 40 inches south of Canton and Marion Ohio. Most of the winter snows can be attributed, not to heavy lake effect snow, but to several major winter storms that moved through Ohio. The first occurred just before Christmas. and another in early January, both of which brought heavy snow and a heavy accumulation of ice from freezing rain across parts of north central and northeast Ohio. Two more heavy snow storms occurred on the first and last weekends of April. The last storm, on the 24th and 25th, dumped more than a foot of heavy, wet snow across Greater Cleveland. April 2005 was the snowiest April ever here with more than 19 inches recorded at Cleveland Hopkins Airport. The heavy seasonal snows were all the more impressive considering that lake effect snow was limited to a few events due to the absence of many arctic air masses. Lake Erie did become mostly ice covered from late January into March.

The years, they run into each other more and more as they accumulate! Many events in my life are only dated by "pegs" like how old my daughter was, which house they took place in, etc...the more there is to remember the more we have toplay librarian of our lives...and detective! IP: Logged |

It's still a stick frame My Mom came up and took us out to lunch on Sunday, so that threw the rest of that construction day off (not that I'm complaining - it was a lovely late lunch in the little town of Occoquan). And now F's in North Cackilacky for the week. My goal while he's gone is to get a trench dug along the perimeter to run hardware cloth down a foot or so. But not today. Today is a lazy, rainy birthday - a cuddling with babies and watching Doctor Who day. ------------------ If I've included this sig, it's because I'm posting from a mobile device.
