Do you think the girl escaped in the woods? Or that he killed her? It's great seeing Normon develop. We know how the story ends. It's interesting seeing how it began. You haven't seen Psycho, but all you really need to know is that he is stark raving mad and has severe mother issues. lol The older brother has really turned into a hero, although he is associated with some rather unsavory characters.

I don't know. You'd think he wouldn't come back unless he's killed her, but if he didn't come back he'd risk the Bates doing something in his absence.
I agree about the older brother. That's why I like his character. Interesting twist with his promotion. I like how they handled that.

Yeah, I didn't think about that. He had to get back to the family quickly, so he would have tried to catch her fast, and if not, make a choice. I was surprised when the older guy said he was working for the brother.

How will they explain killing the cop?

No kidding. That's what's great about these kinds of shows: there's always some situation that looks impossible to deal with that the characters have to find their way out of.

AG, how much do you know about the original movie? I ask, because something happened in this episode that's important to the progression toward the movie.

I wonder now if the other cop was a partner in the slave biz with the dead one?

I know almost nothing about the movie. Maybe it's on Netflix. I'll probably watch the new episode this morning.

Basically, throughout the movie, Norman has conversations with his mother, and girls are being murdered (one infamous shower scene), but we find out that Norman is dressing as his mother. We see a glimpse of that in this episode when he is rejected by the girl who slept with him.

I just watched the Vince Vaughn remake. I assume it was a reasonable approximation. It was interesting.

When Marion was signing in, the person that had previously signed in was Michael Scott, the name they gave to the boss in the American version of The Office.

Also, I noticed taxidermy, which they've set-up on the show to an extent.

Yeah, I'm wondering what the taxidermy reference will lead to. When Norman's dog was killed, he wanted to have her taken to the taxidermist.

What a creepy motel guy! And that's saying a lot on this show. Emma is so sweet. She could help Normon if he will let her. Only two more episodes left.

We watched [I think it's called] House At The End of the Street last night. It turned out that the guy that plays Norman's brother, Dylan, was the lead. It was pretty good. It also had Elizabeth Shue and Jennifer Lawrence in it.
Watching Bates now.

Yay! I've been wanting to watch that movie! But I saw the trailer before Bates came out, so I didn't know the lead guy. I forgot what he looked like.

I think you'll like it, Randall. Actually, I'm pretty certain you'll like it.

I didn't finish watching this episode yet. Got interrupted with a task.
