I left on the 25th of May,
to take a break from 'LindaLand'
for things were escalating..
bouncing right off the Moon
Shadow appeared...
smearing hear and there..

I left to Pray and Send LOve to A11..
Imaging Heaven on Earth..
Understanding

..This morning, Unable to Sleep
I came to this Magic Place
that started in Outer-Space..
..what Evil had come ?
a Forum had Vanished!?
Poof!
gone, out of thin Air..

Gosh, despair took Over
for a Moment, pulled into
this Illusion..

Everything Happens for a Reason..

Please, don't walk away from here,

Would one of you maybe explain in short plain language (or ref URL) to me "what's going on?"

I only visit a few forums here, so I'm not in touch with what goes on in big blocks of LL communications.... I have problems concentrating--- because of inner problems, as well as outer environmental ones. The environmental distractions have made it almost "impossible" for me to be here at times... at MOST times. I take the "quiet" as it comes, and I visit here. Limits to only a few threads in several forums at a time. I cannot visit all... and chose to respect people with way-vastly different views from me by allowing their free expressions with their own kind of "friends"....

I have some pretty broad views, and like discussions. Some places were very offensive to me, so I just stayed out of them. It's OKAY that they want to be like that, and they have their own place to do it. If I "met" them on different ground, I didn't hold anything against them for views expressed elsewhere. I find joy in the threads I visit with more regularity.

Many people are hurting right now, for different reasons....

I realize that HSC left... arggggh! I really loved him!! And I understand how he was upset. I keep thinking that if only I could have hung out with him more often, that he wouldn't be "gone" right now. (makes me cry).

You understand how I have a "housing" problem. In the past few days, I shopped and spent high-dollar amount on some quality noise-sound cancellation earphones because "sounds" here were over-the-top for me, and making my body ill.

The high distraction kept me from "focusing" on the reading here. I'd try to print out pages to read later, but you know (of course) that "timing" can be everything here.

(yESTERDAY, my neighbor discovered that he has a water pipe break... little front stoop is like a pond. I'm sure there will be heavy equipment, plumbers and carpentry work tomorrow. Don't know if MY water will be affected, or if I'll have to leave the building? We'll see... 'If it's not one thing, it's another?' .... I'm interested in the topics that go on here, and I'm building interesting 'relationships' ... I genuinely care about what happens to people here.)

On one side was a very dysfunctional family that did a lot of shrieking and cussing and even repeating themselves (it was an act of will that I didn't go out and confront the woman who kept shouting over and over at the top of her lungs for like 20 minutes, "You're going to jail!"), and their kids learned bad habits from them, too, including one little boy who shouted and cussed like they did and played with himself in my backyard (that was probably because of all the shrubs I put up and nurtured to help block the noise, and he found them useful for another reason, strange that he never thought I might see him out the window, or maybe he hoped I would, don't know...his parents were deranged enough that I both pitied him and didn't want to turn their mentally ill shouting towards him, he had enough issues to deal with, I'm sure).

And on the other side (roughly, like 2 houses over but in sight from my house) was a dope house. After one got raided by deputies (which I saw happen) another one opened across the street and thus even closer to me. They were so obvious that they might as well had a neon sign advertising their drugs. But what was really annoying was the customers, reckless drivers and playing their music way too loud (including 2-3 AM in the morning, sometimes peeling out of there as fast as they could without a muffler on top of that, I was woken up more than once because of that) and addicts having fits.

It was another act of self-control not to confront 2 people (knew it was a bad idea but also knew that I could get away being a vigilante and claim self-defense easy enough, especially if they had criminal records which I don't doubt they both did, and I don't doubt the neighbors would've applauded me, even lied on my behalf if necessary) who shouted obscenities at each other and were even more grating than the dysfunctional family on the other side, and it was simply too hot to shut my windows. And they were arguing on the top of their lungs because they both forgot to bring the money to buy their drugs and were blaming each other and every other word was the f-word because their poisoned brains needed the precious second to think of the next word they wanted to say. And they didn't go back to get their money, they kept shrieking for like 40-45 minutes, I remember getting frustrated that they didn't lose their voices from shrieking like that continuously for so long. I later found out that my neighbor, who had a front row seat, called 911 early on but they once again ignored the call for as long as they did, but as some cops FINALLY arrived the screaming couple remembered how to behave (got taken in anyway). That was 3 months before I moved, and that dope house didn't get raided until like a week after the move.

I had been reading all the shenanigans going on over there, some crazy back and forth feuds...

I don't know if deleting the forum is the best way to deal with it, but didn't seem like either side was remotely prepared to give ground.

Actually the whole affair reminded me of that line from Dante's Inferno...

Pixie Jane... You DO understand about 'noisy neighbors'-- wow! I've experienced similar things. Yeah, last Fall I witnessed physical fights in my parking lot. I could hear the thuds as they pummeled each other-- like echoed like pumpkin smashings. There are gangs here... I do not go out as much as possible. I used to enjoy going for walks-- not anymore. Almost like being under house arrest! Outside our window a couple months ago my roommate heard men fighting about 400 in money the neighbor owes them... very scary!

Yes, I'm soooo glad you don't have to live there anymore!
