Sookie makes me sick. I can't stand her character. There is absolutely NOTHING likeable about her at all. And the fact that pretty much every male on the show with the exception of jason, has pretty much gone gaga over her.. and she falls in love with Every man who's life she's saved. I wish she'd hurry up and die alreadyIP: Logged |

Well, I donīt wish death on her, but for the other part Iagree. Annoying.
But I noticed that a lot of female characters in these shows resemble a "Mary Sue" quite a lot. I am especially thinking of Bella, Elena and also Sookie here.
Okay, maybe not really a Mary Sue, but a bit annoying nevertheless.
But then again as much as I loved "Buffy" the series, I never liked Buffy.
It seems I have a preference for the characters surrounding the main heroine.

Supporting roles - that was the word I didnīt find this morning. Thanks.  What supporting character do you like in True Blood? (well for me it probably would be easier to list those I don`t like. )
Well, Lafayette and Jason come to mind instantly (yes I like Jason, anyone a problem with that? )
Also have a soft spot for Terry, Pam and some others. I do NOT have to mention Erik, do I?
Is he even a supporting role or a main role? I don`t care that much for Bill though; funnily enough I once saw an interview with Stephen Moyer, and liked him so much more in that, than as the character he portrays. IP: Logged |

I would say Bill and Sookie are the only main roles. I hate Bill. I like all the ones you mentioned, especially Jason. I like Jessica, too. IP: Logged |

Jason stackhouse is hilarious! Sheriff Andy bellfleur too! (And his partner, who retired some seasons ago too, hey were soo funny together LOL) .. andy is soo adorably grumpy and funny.I like jessica and lafayette.. i used to drool over alcide, but he's starting to annoy me this season =/IP: Logged |

His partner turned out to be quite evil a couple of seasons back. I hate Elena and am so tird of everyone falling in love with her. I don't care for Stefan. I like Klaus much better. Am looking forward to his own show in the fall. Bella is okay. Team Alice! IP: Logged |

I thought so, too, but I was seeing Paul Wesley on a convention 2 years ago, and he totally surprised me. Imean sure he is not Stefan (Stefan is a bore imo, or worse, a bad copy of Angel, and that one was whiney enough for a dozen), but first of all he was looking so much more attractive than on screen, and secondly I totally loved his humour.
And he was not on a mission which was kinda pleasant, too.
Don`t get me wrong I am all for Ian Somerhalder`s great and amazing involvement in his causes, I ADMIRE t hat, but true to his Knight-like Sagittarianness, he can get a tad repetitive in his enthusiasm. Well, I know I am prone to that myself, but still.

Yes, exactly, why is everyone falling in love with Elena?
And yeah, team Alice all the way! Klaus is okay, but whom I am really missing is Alaric.
I was watching the last episodes from the 4th season I think, when they were bringing him (and some others back) and just realized how much I miss his character.
Actually I sometimes read on the actor`s twitter site, he is funny, crazy, and sometimes uncomfortable. I like that. IP: Logged |
