Beautiful!I draw heavily on inspirational stories, quotes and pictures too. It helps keep the trinity of me in balance. ------------------ Christian, Jew, Muslim, Shaman, Zoroastrian, stone, ground, mountain, river, each has a secret way of being with the Mystery, unique and not to be judged. Never underestimate the Power of Sand and the power of the Oceans that cover, wash, and sift them into changing formations-- Ever constant destruction and renewal...As Above So Below. Dry & Wet. Wet & Dry. And those places inbetween... Little seashells are a sign that Life either was or is there. Past and Present. Makes for a mighty wonder for the metaphysical symbols of Life and of Higher Consciousness always Present.... Lets us 'not forget' our points of Origination... Where we Came From! IP: Logged |

I agree! I find the most peace sitting on the beach on our Texas gulf coast. Funny I can be experiencing my life falling apart, but sitting with my toes in the sand, the Gulf waters laping at my Pisces feet and nothing matters! And I have seen those pics before....amazing~ IP: Logged |

I used to go the Beach at night... well-after it got dark. I'd sit on a dune and look at the moon, the waves, the little sand crabs. I've seen some truly deeply amazing things during my night watchfulness.I saw how the Moon's light reflects off flecks of phosphorus as a wave crests and spills.... looks like quick stroke of 'lightning' shooting across the top. Did you know that the little sand crabs come out around 3 or 4 A. M. ? If I stayed really still, more and more of them would come out and scurry all around the sand. If I suddenly moved, or coughed, they would stop! Their little eyes would flash towards me. Their eyes 'light up' like a cat's at night.... or like 'deer caught in the headlight'.... The eyes glow! I would sense the ocean. The Atlantic is much different in personality and character than the Pacific. I got to BE with the Atlantic. Ocean is AMAZING........ So deep and so much power, unfathomable. It's like one body, but it's not. It's like a mother with each drop like a nursing teat. It's like a father so wide and present. A drop in the ocean; the ocean in a drop. I would feel a little scary, thinking how the Ocean 'stays' right within a boundary. Sandy beach, shore, liquid Power.... it's just all in the Right order. Once when a hurricane was passing close, the waves were HIGH then fell down so HARD in the sand that it dug very deep trenches. I was foolish, but I went 'as close as I could dare' to the EDGE of that sandcliff when the wave was maybe close to 20 feet higher than me, but would just DROP!---right where it was, it would DROP down from sooooo high. (The other closest thrill I could think of was my visit to NiagraFalls.) Water is like its own type of alien Life-form.... yet, my body.... It is 'like' it. so amazing...... so amazing IP: Logged |
