I watch the American version and have met all of the main cast. It was renewed for a 4th season. Which version are you watching, and which season are you on?IP: Logged |

Yes, the American version (I think - with Sam Witwer?).They had been showing the first season last year, and I had glimpsed into it now and then, and just when I got more into it, it was gone from the channel. They are starting the 2nd season from next thursday, and have some old episodes from 1st season saturday night. How did you meet them? Convention? IP: Logged |

I am also glad to know there is a 4th season (why hasn`t the second season been released on DVD yet though, if there are so many more?).I remember that I was feeling kinda let down when I realized there were only 2 seasons of "Blood Ties", just when I had grown into it. lol IP: Logged |

Met them at DragonCon after the first season. Season 2 isn't that great. Season 3 was better than Season 1 (introduced zombies) and ended with some huge cliffhangers.IP: Logged |

Well, I think I am going to give it a chance, let`s see if the spark will ignite. DRagon Con, is that the one in Atlanta? Comic Con was San Diego, right? (I always mix them up). I didnīt go to this year`s bloody con (too much on my plate), but I am considering going there next year, or maybe Ring Con, though why I have no clue, I haven`t even seen all parts of Lord of the Rings. But I love the convention athmosphere, it is really like another world. IP: Logged |

Yep, in Atlanta. It's huge! No doubt Comic Con is the largest, but DragonCon covers five luxury hotels for four days and has somethng for just about everyone. It's like a whole different universe for sure. www.dragoncon.org IP: Logged |

Dragon con and Comic Con sound VERY interesting to me, but definitely out of reach. (I am not even flying to London, but taking the train. )Bloody Con was pretty cool; when I was there they had Ian Somerhalder, Paul Wesley, zach Roerig; it was a little crazy though. I also liked the lectures they had with German fantasy and horror writers. I like it if someone reads for me IP: Logged |

I watched it online, only for it (the first season) to be broadcast on BBC America a month later. They still haven't shown the last season here. I haven't watched the American version, because copies don't always work. I didn't want to see the characters I was familiar with, potentially ruined - like those in the Dead Like Me TV movie. This evening they will start the 2nd season. I am going to watch and tell you if I liked it.After it they are going to show an episode of "Buffy" the one where she literally sends Angel to hell. Oh God, when I first saw it, I CRIED such a lot. no not because I was so compassionate, but at that time some episodes centreing around the Angel/Buffy story managed to make me wallow in memories of days long gone by and selfpity I guess. It was realy good for releasing my own demons that had been haunting my life. Besides I am jsut SO sentimental when it comes to TV. lol IP: Logged |

Then I am going to look forward to it. I thought the episode was pretty okay (start of the 2nd season), but I was a little distracted, cause I suddenly had the urge to book the hotel for two upcoming concerts end of august, and had to see that my usual hotel was already booked up! So I had to look for another, that would not be too far from the location, as i want to walk and not take a cab. And the episode I was seeing seemed somehow longer than usually. It was only after 2/ 3rd of the time that I realized they had been showing a double feature. THAT is how focused I was. Interestingly last night I was dreaming of Kyle Schmid. Which surprised me, it`s been years he flitted through my dreams.
I read of course that he will have a guest role on Being human, but not in the first 2 episodes, and even with that in mind, wouldn`t it have made more sense dreaming of him in the night TO yesterday (right after seeing Being human?). Well, my dreams are weird, I admit.
