Do you do this? If so, what sort of shows?

I've been watching Breaking Bad, and my favourite since early last year: Gilmore Girls. If I were more awake, I would watch another episode - I was all snuggled in with tea, and an episode from last week.

There are times when I don't mind the wait from week to week, but I do love watching a group of shows in advance. In the Spring, and normally in the Autumn, I will watch a bunch of paranormal reality shows from the primetime on-demand section (which is free, since it's what they're showing on the basic cable). I'm hoping to get into House of Cards, at some point, but will have to watch it somewhere online, unless it's now out on DVD. I've just ordered in the first season of Medium (to hopefully watch with my mother - five years ago, I got her into it when I found somewhere she could watch it online). I liked Big Love, Freaks and Geeks (my first series ordered in on DVD, seven years ago), Carnivale, and Dead Like Me.

Oh, I did that, too! Online, two years ago, and then I watched the whole first two seasons on Easter weekend. I had to watch the rest online, although I can't remember what happened now.

I do it too sometimes. Been sucked into Big Brother lately.

Recently it was this one: http://www.free-tv-video-online.me/internet/treehouse_masters/

Treehouse Masters

Often described as a tree whisperer by his clients, colleagues and contemporaries, Pete uses an approach that's part science/part art to create incredible homes and businesses that are sustained by nature's foundation - trees. From the start, Pete lets the trees do the talking, giving him solid information of where and how to erect each arboreal sanctuary. Then, he and his team execute the most outrageous treehouses designed to delight every whimsy, form and function. Whether he's contriving magnificent multi-bedroom treehouses with state-of-the-art kitchens and bathrooms or rendering simpler, peaceful one-room escapes, Pete always goes out on a limb to create the most breathtaking treehouses with spectacular vistas.

I'm a fan of a bunch of Bravo shows. Their new series Below Deck is good. Million Dollar Listing and MDL NY. Interior Therapy with Jeff Lewis and most of the other shows on there. I enjoyed Gallery Girls & Work of Art (i think it was called) but don't think they are renewing them for a second season.

Breaking bad is better a few episodes a night. I was trying to watch more, but kept falling asleep, and it can be too much - at least for me.

AG, figures you would.

Total Capricorian ruled show. His jokes are extremely corny, but boy can he build a treehouse!

Mirage, I liked Monday Mornings - what I saw of it. Do you know if it's coming back? I've been meaning to watch The West Wing, too - I never did see that. (I didn't watch much TV for a few years, when that, and the Gilmore Girls were on, so I missed out on some good shows. )

T, I was thinking of you when I was just watching the first episode on on-demand, of a show called Siberia - but something was off about it, so I googled, only to find that it's a mockumentary - a fictional reality show. Not sure I'll watch the rest now - they just had someone die, and that's why I googled. I figured it had to be fake, especially with the noises coming from the woods.

I keep missing the paranormal shows.

I watched all the episodes of '30 Days' on Netflix. Awesome show.

@ T, I love Project Runway! It always makes me want to break out the sewing machine!
Below Deck is a good one. I almost took a similar type of job years ago.
I like a lot of the Housewives shows but I cannot stand Miami. I can't seem to find any love for those women, and I've tried. I watched all of last season. I give up, lol

Hi Gypsee!

I've just remembered that Mum loves HGTV, and their home-buyer shows. A friend on Facebook was talking about one in which people actually want to buy islands (???), and how she couldn't believe that they had problems with trees making it seem more isolated, since they would have an island all to themselves. I used to like Trading Spaces, and the other renovation shows (like This Old House), but haven't watched them for years.

Teasel.... Doesn't look like TV SHOW Monday Mornings are continuing (for right now). I REALLY really liked that show!!

[HBO] The Newsroom (Alan Sorkin) is back!! YAY!!! Second Season. The story is really picking up in pace and intensity now with the last episode.

Alan Sorkin had ALSO done the TV Series THE WEST WING. (FUNNY-WARNING): This show MAY become "addictive" and "binging" is known to occur!! Another side effect is possible increase in interest in your (US) government political processes!

You can't give up interest UNTIL you have seen "at least" the first 4 (to 5) episodes. THEN, you'll "understand" the construction.... the multi-dimensional laying down of story-tracks. Suddenly, you're 'hooked'... *mwahaha-haha*

TWW, and The Newsroom are "layered" ~~ similar to the way The X-Files series had layerings..... That was an awesome good show too! Gillian Anderson ("Scully") is SOOO outrageously GORGEOUS!!

The West Wing TV Series was a really really awesome show! Taught me sooo much about how the political process works.

In the past, I had worked in offices with those kinds of lightning-response intensities, all hours of the day or night, and teamwork.... great to remember (and makes me shake right now... maybe I need to go eat a sandwich, yeah!) My background gave me an 'extra-appreciation' for this show because I 'knew' what that was like--- (Sorkins's The Newsroom has that kind of speed style intensity too)

On one of the later cycles of TWW, they shot episodes of the show from MY OLD childhood ELEMENTARY SCHOOL!!! OMG!!! What MEMORIES! The church they used in that episode was the place where I'd made my First Communion (R.Catholic child). Woah! soooo cool... been decades for me since I saw it. 1984... my Grandmother's Funeral.

I 'do' feel like a Naturally-bent 'political critter'.... yep. Was born on JFK's birthday, with comedian Bob Hope (U.S.O. troops). Now I see a TV Prez Jeb Bartlett... in MY old church, and in my old 1st and 2nd grade school hallway and classrooms.

(My family moved way out of state during the middle of my second-grade elementary school experience there....) Such a nice surprise when I saw the episodes.... ~~ cool-freaky.

(gotta go eat my sandwich... catch you later!)

American Horror Story marathon on F/X.

It's been on for a few hours, but my DVR caught all of it. It finishes up tomorrow night.

The second one. It continues tonight, at 10pm or 11pm. They've been showing little teaser clips of the new season, but in the odd, creepy way they did with the others. Not true clips of the show.
