How do I unregister? I don't see it as an option. Could someone unregister me, please. Thanks IP: Logged |

You can't as this is an old board that has seen very little upgrading since it started over 10 years ago. But don't worry, you won't get spammed by LL, people here won't email you, it has absolutely no effect on you at all. All you have to do is not come here anymore and it's just like being unregistered. IP: Logged |

I know they can unregister people. It's how they ban them. IP: Logged |

Randall can, yes. But why put him through the trouble when it makes no difference? IP: Logged |

It would really help me out if he could. I'd rather not say why. IP: Logged |

If it's so "important" then click on Register and then Contact Us which will get to Randall. Or wait, he'll probably find this eventually. I really don't get why you're bothering him with this, and I just hope it's you want to change your name as then there'd at least be a point to this.IP: Logged |

Why is it your business to judge? It is between her and Randall. Your comment will just make a person feel worse who is already feeling upset for some reason.

Banning you doesn't erase your posts. It doesn't remove anything from search engines. It just prevents you from posting.IP: Logged |

In fact if you want to erase posts you need to do it before unregistering. Sometimes people have real reasons for unregistering that might even have nothing to do with Lindaland, but personal stuff...like cpn edgar sunshine firecracker, for one...how is it anyone else's business? IP: Logged |

Name one thing it does. My only problem with this is it's pointless and yet she demands Randall do it anyway as if this made some big difference. IP: Logged |

She hasn't demanded anything, PJ. You've heard of cord-cutting and it IS her account. From what i.ve seen it isn't exactly a huge problem. Takes about two seconds and at Randall's convenience. Seems like it's beyween them don't you think?

I don't know how much trouble it is for Randall, I just know he doesn't care to do it so why make him? And why is Lily's convenience so much more important than Randall's? And that's beside the point, it isn't even convenient for Lily because it does nothing for her. As far as I can tell this is just her trying to get Randall to jump through a hoop simply to be sure we hear her stomping off in indignation. Just to be clear I didn't judge or think anything bad about it until after it was clear she KNOWS it makes no difference and gave a "I'd rather not say" (because there ISN'T a reason, but do it anyway!). And given that she's been bluntly honest toward other members at LL who rubbed her the wrong way in other threads I don't believe that she's just being shy or otherwise holding her peace. I've heard of cord cutting, but not in any way that would apply to here. LL doesn't send out digests, allow members to message others, or create any other possible annoyance, nor does banning/unregistering her delete her posts. Therefore there's nothing to cut away and no valid reason for it. But sure, it's between her and Randall. Fact is, if it were in my power I'd ban her myself (and do it again when she tried to slip back in under another name) simply because her sense of entitlement that makes her think others should do things for her that serve no actual purpose and without explanation annoys me (in short, I'd be all too glad to help her slam the door on the way out). But the fact that I would doesn't mean Randall is obligated to and I'm content to let him handle it as he sees fit. IP: Logged |

Lily, I'm not going to assume reasons why you want to be unregistered. If you have personal info on here you want deleted then go and edit them. If you have any other queries, contact Randall. IP: Logged |
