How do you get these viruses? Does someone have to give them to you, maliciously.------------------ Want To Ask Any Question About Bible Prophecy? Go For it. It is Free, of course. http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

As for malware and the like it's pretty rare you'll be singled out for one, typically hackers send them to other hackers in their private feuds (or others who they particularly hate who are often involved working with computers themselves somehow). But criminals send out as many viruses as they can knowing the more they send out the more nibbles they'll get which they do as a game and/or for profit. One thing to be aware of is that if one's computer becomes infected then the hardware (or alternately the account) is often changed to become a "zombie" which then begins sending copies of itself out in order to infect more while avoid being traced (and it saves effort). Sometimes it just starts spamming others but the worst do try to spread themselves. Some websites can become infected and accessing those sites can then infect your computer. That's why protection is so important. The worst, IMO, are those that find all email addresses saved in an email account and sends to those directly. Therefore, be careful if a trusted friend sends you a file or link (including "e-cards"), especially if it seems out of character or doesn't make sense. I've ALWAYS confirmed such links were sent by the said friend and every single time they said no...and usually that their computer was infected (that is the virus hijacked the account to send itself out hoping to infect more accounts or computers, not the friend).
