For those who like their zombies but would like to see them with a twist...Archie comics has started a series and looks like they're playing it straight rather than for laughs. The trailer:

It was okay, IMO, but as I don't keep up with the Archie universe I didn't know the characters that much...save Sabrina and her family, and that was, by far, the grimmest take on Sabrina and her 2 witchy aunts I'd ever seen! (Minor spoiler: Sabrina uses the Necronomicon!) Nothing lighthearted about it at all...I wonder if Harvey exists in this version, if he does then I expect he's going down (and getting back up as a zombie) because that would just fit on how much her life has gotten to suck. My impression is that there is to be 4 issues, one per month starting in October. They sell so fast that the stores buy more but they keep selling. So you may need to special order it either through a shop or through Amazon (as they come out). IP: Logged |
