Oh yeah, it's still the Capricorn season - till 19 January. When i think of Capricorn as a zodiac sign and what it stands for, the goats from Morocco pop in to my mind:

...and no, that's not photoshop: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VM6QOWykfOE

- either those or the - mountain goats:

I mean, same as those goats - Capricorns seem to be resourceful in a "we do what we have to" kind of way... driven by a will to go on - no matter what lies in front of them. And it's not something they seem to do for the sake of adventure or traveling (as it's the case with Sagittarius) - but more like for the sake of evolution. So hey, cheer-up you old goat - another year has passed... which puts you further in your path (for - we all have our own path) - to the top of the mountain. Whatever mountain top you chose to climb - whatever goal you chose to overcome. Have a happy b'day - a happy year and may good health be on your side.

How old are u btw?

It was great. Homemade chocolate cherry cake and homemade banana pudding from scratch.

With Vanilla Wafers?

Yum!

My Aunt used to make that!

I always liked chocolate & cherry together, played with making the cordials sometimes.

So glad it was a wonderful one, and I commend your Mom.

I also commend you. You are wonderful, and I know you probably don't like all the focus, but truly you deserve it.

You are a great leader, and I want you to know that you are appreciated.

Thanks, Randall.

Ellyn

Yep, with 'nilla wafers. Most people use instant pudding. You have to constantly stir and stir till it thickens when it's homemade.

I know that, Randall.

I make pies for the Holidays with chips.

Butterscotch, Chocolate, I even added white chips to some Coconut we made this year.

It's weird with the homemade, cause you have to juggle it with the egg, butter & Vanilla at the end (that's truly from scratch) the package is easier.

Really satisfying to make something really good from a little bit of nothing.
