recently, I think I'm being visited by an old friend of mine that has had trouble letting go of old habits. This one is my confidence. I have such a terrible level of confidence. I am so terribly afraid of confrontation that I indirectly go against it. I keep it all inside and I feel like I am **** and i start to hate myself. I want to start finding ways to build my confidence. What ways can I go about this? Thanks to whoever can answer IP: Logged |

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7yMVtVXdCA It comes naturally with the finding of one's Spiritual Path. Once that Spirit is within and guiding you, you just naturally take the Right Path. You don't even have to think about it, it comes quite without volition. I think it's mostly when you can't get past thinking about oneself that the problem lies. When I think about it and get lost in that briar path maze, I'm screwed. IP: Logged |

I don't care what your Planets look like, if you take the Right Path, all these things come together to form True Happiness in the end. Who's to say it's not just a bizarre test to hone your personality in the right direction.IP: Logged |

Think of something you want to do and set small goals to get there...not one big goal, just a small, easy one. Do it, and work your way along the steps, and if it involves getting good at something then accept it takes time to do that and focus more on improvement than perfection. This has worked for a lot of people, though obviously it's not instant. IP: Logged |

I was thinking this after careful thought. When you are good at something, and you know your stuff, it just comes natural. IP: Logged |

Practice in whatever one needs confidence in. When you are good at something, confidence is the natural result of that assuredness.IP: Logged |

(clip) Good Will Hunting (1997) (Official Trailer) [2:23] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rqix3zCFu7c m.blade In a 'dog eat dog' society, you're barking up MY own tree! Move over!... We can share a tree limb for a while to rest, and get our wits back!... I'm "Out There" with you, still trying to figure this one out... I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the story of Gabby Douglas to you. She had to 'start from scratch' with her World Class Coach. He chose her for her spunk and potential... But then he had to use what she had already in her, and he TRAINED that potential properly, so she could have that chance, that possibility. She came to a CRISIS.... only barely a few weeks away from 'the chance to prove' that the dream was Real. It was her Self-Doubting that sabotaged her ~~ Please watch her Movie. Weeks ago, I was also very inspired about this 'issue' of building Confidence when I chanced on finding the Movie, "Snow White Huntsman" ~~ (clip) Snow White and the Huntsman (Trailer, full) [2:32] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DgfYBJoPFFw So, ahem, Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf? (I'm cheerleading for you!) *big hug* (music) SONG: Road to Victory (using Gabby Douglas Movie trailer) [3:07] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o-3uLluQnko

Hi Mirage.. I watched the movie. Honestly, I am still trying to put it into words. It's truly inspiring. I honestly can't find words for it.

"Good Will Hunting" is one of my all-time favourites, right up there with "Ghost & Mrs. Muir" and "Brigadoon."(I mean right there, they are on the same tape, hehe.) IP: Logged |
