Thanks, Ellyn and Panthera!  I can't really complain, although I was hoping it would be nice out so that I could work in the garden. But my actual birthday is supposed to be sunny and warmer, so...yay!  Just laid low and hung out with my family, had fun playing with my son, got to have too much wine with my mother in-law and laugh a lot, which was nice. All I really wanted for my birthday this year was to hang out with family and dig in the garden, so I think I'll get my wish.

Hahahahaha...heh.Well, I didn't mean to sound *that* dismal. 
Just my way of keeping myself in check, and being grateful for my life (which I am). My mom wasn't able to make it over because of the weather, and the only thing I really wanted this year was to have time with my family and work in my garden. No such luck. So it was kind of...flat, I suppose. But that's okay, I've had plenty of lovely birthdays, and there will be plenty more. A couple of years ago, my husband took me to see the Gauguin exhibit at the SAM, and that was awesome. He's my favorite painter, so I had been waiting for that one since I was 15 years old. Too many weird transits this year. I hope May Day is better. IP: Logged |

Now that we are finished bringing you that Birthday Thread for Violets Station Break, we return you to your regularly scheduled Eclipse Report.By the way, Gauguin painted naked ladies. We don't hold with that kind on thing here, so. Uh, guess I better look up the Eclipses, huh? I know one is on the twenty-ninth, just before May Day, if that helps. The other one must be two weeks in front of or behind. Didn't I do a Timeline for you? Oh yeah, it should be on there, if it affects you. Or hubby.
