Wait, what do you mean that Will gave Hannibal meat without his consent?

I figured out what was going on - hoped. But I'm only vaguely aware of what happened with Hannibal's sister. did he say it last night? I knew Margot was a lesbian.

have you read red dragon? hannibal rising? seen the films?
ok...spoilers here.
mischa was cannibalized and in the movie, hannibal rising, lecter eats his sister in a soup, thinking it was regular meat...without lecter knowing it.
now, we have will who feeds hannibal what he thinks is freddie, when in reality...it is prolly a piece of randall from the cooler....

a lot of these things have to do with backstory, from reading the books and watching the movies...

That was so disgusting. I wouldn't want to anger the writer who thought that one up. I loved how Winston didn't join in (and every time I hear that name, I wish I'd gone ahead and named one of my cats Winston).

I don't see how Will expect Hannibal to give Jack what he wants, unless he means to set up a fight to the death.

The writer is Bryan Fuller. We ... agree to disagree on what an appropriate level of gore is. Especially for TV. Even in this genre.

There are several things I don't like about Hannibal, sadly, as I love the franchise, and Harris' original creation.

I DO appreciate how Fuller is trying to raise the bar of a network show, however. That's LONG overdue.

Now if Mads would enunciate cleanly, and we could get a score besides something out of Kabuki theatre - I may, possibly, watch.

Instead, I just keep getting flashbacks. Heh. Maybe they should put a disclaimer, rather than the usual TV-MA, 'trigger warning: ex-profilers be advised'.

with all due respect but....
i understand you dont like the show nor did you care for the finale at all, since coincidentally, you post this post-finale yet,
this thread is for those who enjoy and appreciate hannibal, the tv series, spec. season 2.
if you want to write more about the negative as to the show, im sure you can open a thread on this...or discuss the reasons you dont like the show on that thread on tv shows season finale,
that would be respectful for us who want to discuss the show with a more positive spin in this thread.
thanks. much appreciate.

That was so sad, but I think it was better than the past four/five episodes. I think there was too much focus on the budding psychopath and mentor - I really didn't like that. It's bad enough when they're screwing with each other, but I really felt like I was being messed with, too.

I don't think so. Maybe he thought all of the wounds were fatal, but I thought he would have made sure they were dead.

I couldn't get over all of that, though: that the fight with Jack was just the beginning.

no....
that was just hannibal's parting gift for will's betrayal...
hannibal was hurt...and there goes his overblown drama.
one of them is prolly dead...but, will will def. survive...

will messed up though. he wanted to catch hannibal, but at the same time, he wanted hannibal to escape...he caught feelings

and then, will should have stayed away from freddie...oh well, nothing he could do about that

hannibal though...
he was ready for the perfect escapade...and abigail, as a gift for will, almost like a wedding gift before the honeymoon
had will known that abigail was still alive, will would have gone with hannibal but hannibal wanted will to come by his own free will

now, that scene when alana falls....so beautiful (not her falling, of course) but the cinematography...
and then, hannibal under the rain, anybody notice he took will's coat?

well, hannibal was changed by will. he was tricked by will, even though he found out at the end...
i dont think anyone else will leave such a mark as will did...
hannibal truly exposed himself
