Today, the White House believes that the plane ventured into the Indian Ocean, specifically the Sea of Andaman. That's all the way up North between the Andaman Islands and almost as far up as Bangkok. Now India and the US are tasked with that search.

Update: Now the US says the plane went into teh Bay of Bengal. That is ridiculous. India will never allow the uS ships all over the Bay of Bengal. That's strategic Indian territory. Google maps and see how insane that is. If true, someone was trying to steal a plane and sell it.

As far as information out of the US, the Wall Street Journal was a major Fubu with its claims that Rolls Royce had engine readings four hours after the transponder responses were turned off. Rolls Royce denied that. Instead, the signals were picked up by an intelligence/defense satellite company (I won't release the name even though the information is public if you search hard) for easily 4-1/2 hours after the plane was lost on the East Coast of Malaysia. The US National Reconnaisance Office picked up images on other spy satellites as well. I don't know much about those.

Notice that China has a whole bunch to criticize other countries for, but can't lift their own butts to do anthing. There is no effective coordination, forget about leadership. Most of the presumed dead are Chinese, and the ball should be in China's court.

As much as Malaysia and Singapore like to spout about how developed they are, etc., they are fumbling like pure amateurs. Wet behind the ears in terms of a real crisis. Vietnam is helping to the extent that they can, but they have no horse in the race and basically not much incentive.

The South China Sea does not belong to China. It's Vietnamese and Malaysian, and partly Filipino. Saying that the South China Sea is Chinese is like Mexico saying the Gulf of Mexico is Mexican. If China wants to asset rule over the South China Sea, then where are their ships in this search? All they've done is sent bad satellite information.

For now, I'm inclined to believe that the plane did not have a mechanical malfunction. Outside of the Airbus A330, the B777-200ER is among the most advanced wide bodied aircraft in the world. Even the A380 and B787 Dreamliner are just headaches. I finance these planes for a living. They are hyper reliable.

Malaysia Airlines was cheap and didn't order the plane with the Boeing monitoring package. Otherwise, there would be real time monitoring by Boeing anywhere in the world, regardless of whether the IFF or Transponders are switched off. Those were precautions after 9/11. The Malaysian government didn't learn that lesson.

I do know that there are the two gleaming 88-Storey Petronas towers, but who wants to bring down skyscrapers at 2 am in the morning? Doesn't make much sense. Even then, the more fundamentalist Moslems hate that Malaysia is a secular Muslim country. Sharia law is practiced in principle but strictly not enforced. China also has its share of Moslem whackos who have been indisriminating murdering Han Chinese on the street, but I trust that those Xinjiang province whack jobs are not sophisticated enough to ave attended advanced flight school.

My gut feeling is that somebody wanted the plane, but then didn't know where to go, and eventually figured out they didn't know how to land the plane. They probably took out the flight crew in haste and then panicked at the controls. A plane ain't a Playstation. I pretend to fly simulators on my computer at home, but that no way replicates the actual realities of flying the aircraft, let alone landing it.

The Captain seems like a decent securalized Western guy, and the young first officer is justa young 20-something horny bachelor with a love for pretty women. Regular guys. The flight crew doesn't seem like whack jobs.

this was no accident for sure, and i don't know who they are going to pin the blame on in the end, as people believe anything if it serves their own interests not just countries...but these guys (freescale) were working on a proper viable electrical car. can't imagine too many happy people from that other industry that would suffer if people stopped using usual cars.

that in addition to the other things these guys probably knew about electronics (someone on the plane knew exactly how to cloak it from radars and land it, i don't buy that it is in the sea for a second, but the truth is i don't know anything about this plane)...most likely if it isn't the pilots, it is someone from that company that knew how to do it.

not the place for it...but strangely i pulled lenormand cards the first day, that seemed to later match most of the good expeirenced lenormad readers who have online website...can't remember the order...but man woman ring tower and cross.

there is definetly some women involved, or a company named after a women behind this, (or who has them as a top manager or something)...and the contract was to do what we are all 'reading' about these days...then tower and cross, something or someone powerful was behind this...but the cross at the end doesn't look too good at all. there is also a theme of 'betrayal' of some sort going on there...

counting the cards from that...first i get 137 (again 37 in numerology one of the royal stars...but also extreme charismatic men and women who get away with multiple affairs sometimes, and remain loved)

and then again...29...the card of the woman.

having said all that, who knows, but i do find all these things going around accusing the pilots or blaming them without any facts, completely tasteless.

and i know what i'm saying, as did have a close relative killed on the flight referenced quite a bit at the beginning of this planes disappearance...and what 'they' concluded.

hmm i really detest the 'accuse the dead/missing' pilots brigade....on the 'bright' side if you can say that to something like this...this is a year that adds up to 7, so karma works quicker than usual in them, even if we don't see what goes on 'behind the scenes.'

A group of 11 terrorists with connections to Al Qaeda were arrested in Kuala Lumpur yesterday in connection to the disappearance of Malaysia Airlines flight MH370.

Various British news agencies are reporting that the suspects interrogated are members of a terror group said to be planning further bombings in Muslim countries.

The arrests and interrogations came after international investigative teams questioned the individuals extensively.

Those arrested seem to fall in the age range of 22-55 and include some students.

An officer with the Counter Terrorism Division of Malaysian Special Branch said the arrests heighten suspicion that the flight's disappearance may have been an act of terrorism.

"The possibility that the plane was diverted by militants is still high on the list and international investigators have asked for a comprehensive report on this new terror group," the officer said.
